Beginning on the 26th of December and lasting 3 days a violent "Levant" storm or "Medicane" (mediterranean hurricane) hit the northeastern catalan or spanish coast also provoking a blizzard in the interior. Medicane is a term coined by british scientists Ernst and Matson in 1983. Here are some of the photographs I took throughout the assignment many of which were published extensively.

I bought this tomato the day after Christmas. The picture was taken March 1st. The tomato is still hard and there is no sign of decay other than wrinkling of the skin.
