A sense of calm as deep as the ocean comes from watching the sun rise & fall in the wilderness.

“It is the art and science of creating long lasting pro-brand emotional responses from user interactions that are highly stimulating and satisfying.”

Red Tulips symbolize True Love, Lasting Love in the language of flowers. I set these out in pots last autumn and had to put cages over the top of the pots to keep the squirrels out. The package showed a purplish colored flower so I was disappointed at first they seemed more burgundy -- occasionally the light will fall just right and they take on a purple glow, but best of all in the sunlight the camera catches their red passion like stained glass in a cathedral.

Mothers, caregivers and children wait to collect free long lasting insecticide treated bednets in Mwanza, Tanzania. The U.S. President's Malaria Initiative (PMI), led by USAID and implemented together with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is supporting the Under Five Coverage Campaign (U5CC) in Tanzania, jointly funded by the Global Fund, World Bank, PMI and Malaria No More.

The U5CC will be followed by a Universal Coverage Campaign (UCC) in early 2010. The UCC will distribute an additional 14.6 million LLINs, with the aim of reaching the target of 2.5 LLINs per household.

In year three of the President’s Malaria Initiative over 32 million people in Africa were reached with malaria prevention or treatment interventions.

I made one more card for the Lasting Hearts Card drive (see www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/01/lasting-hearts-card-dr...). This image was coloured with Prisma Colour pencils and I added just a little bit of sparkle on the cage. The sentiment comes from Paper Smooches. Azaleas bloom in spring, their flowers often lasting several weeks. They are native to several continents including Asia, Europe and North America. Originally grown only in greenhouses, they were first introduced in the U.S. to the outdoor landscape in the 1830s at the rice plantation "Magnolia-on-the-Ashley" in Charleston, South Carolina. The Magnolia's owner John Grimke Drayton imported the plants for use in his estate garden from Philadelphia.

In the Chinese culture, the azalea is associated with being a symbol of womanhood, it also means "the thinking home bush," which is "xiang shu" in Chinese. The azelea is immortalized in the poetry of Du Fu (712-770), a prominent poet of the Tang Dynasty, who vibrantly detailed them in some of his works such as "A Sea of Blood Red Azaleas."

Sweet Sagittarian Azalea,

You are such a fragile passion.

Five petals on your face,

Blush pink, as you tickle my nose.

Xiang shu my dear,

You make me think of home.

Of luxurious days spent pondering your beauty.

Of the scent of Spring that lingers around your roots.

Forget your long forgotten lover Tu Fu-

-Let me now, swim in “a sea of blood red azaleas.”

Let me dance amongst your branches,

A Green Man amongst the leaves…

My Love for you grows as you grow.

I long for your wonders to be shared.

I listen to your words compassionate:

“Take care of Yourself for Me.”

Shall we have a cup of tea?

Sharing in stories long ago?

Trusting each other, ever lasting.

My love for you shall surely never go.

Until we next meet…

You know that place-

Where butterflies smile

And drink deep of your nectar.

Where bees fly drunk,

Intoxicated by You.

Your dearest fan,

The Tree Poet Whisperer.

Ethiopia has one of the highest child marriage rates in the world. 43% of girls in Ethiopia's Amhara region are married before the age of 15. In response, the United Nations Foundation (UNF) has established educational programs throughout Ethiopia that put girls and women through school, and challenge traditional thinking on child marriage. By investing in education, the UNF hopes to inspire a change in local sentiment surrounding this sensitive cultural issue.

A Lasting Impact focuses on the personal experiences of those who have had their lives changed due to the influence of these UNF sponsored programs. The video further explores the larger implications that reforms like these create.

these are coffins of a married couple who the extent of the cemetary was designed for

This is slogan used by Andersen in 2001. Ran into it when cleaning up my archives.

This couple is crazy. They love each other soo much. She is one of my good friends and for three years I have heard her talk about him day in and day out.

Quick sketches lasting 5 minutes. This is a class I really like and have taken many times with Adult Education at Santa Rosa Jr. College.

Part of CA training involves going to a YMCA camp right across the MN/WI border called Camp Pepin. Not to be melodramatic, but a staff's interactions at CA camp can has a lasting effect throughout the entire year. Anyway, today, we loaded up on a bus and made the trek. After greetings by the camp staff, some central talks (aka Grant talking to every staff all together), and a cabin "house" meeting, our staff of 26 had a full day of staff time. Yes, the day was kind of long, and yes it did get kind of warm, but overall, it was a very enjoyable day. One activity was to navigate a "minefield" with tennis balls, foam balls, cones, and laundry bags acting as mines while other CAs yelled directions to either help you or veer you off-course (depending on what side you were on). We also an activity where half the staff was standing on a sheet and we had to flip the sheet over while still standing on with additional rules as the activity progressed (losing a hand, losing eyesight, losing speech, etc). The last physical activity we did was where everyone had a finger holding up a hula hoop and as a group, we had to lower it to the ground. Our half basically did a cult-like chant of "Down, down, down" and after some kinks, it went pretty smoothly. We then watched the other half which didn't do so hot, but got it after all.

Like last year, tonight was when all 28 (well, one of the CAs had jury duty so we were down to 27 during camp unfortunately) of us started to open up and have the One Word Answer Game. Basically, a question is asked and going around the circle, everyone would give their answer in one/a few words. It starts out simple enough "What's your favorite movie?", but then it really goes past the small talk "What do you think about your generation?", "What do you value most in a friend?", "When do you feel lonely?". Unfortunately each person only can say so much, but it's a great first step to opening up with people and having genuine friendships.

One question that was asked was "What is God?". Now, for those of you who have been following my 365escapades, you know that I love to fiddle with things in my hands. During an earlier question, I had picked up a stick without looking and was rolling it around my fingers. At some point, I broke the stick into two and fiddled with the pieces. When the question came to me, my answer was simple: "Love." It was either when I said that or right around that time that I looked down and noticed that the stick pieces I was rolling around in my fingers had formed a cross. Not just two pieces crossing each other like an X or twisted fingers, but the proportions and angles were right on and it was a cross.

Now, call me crazy or call me cheesy, but I don't think that was necessarily a coincidence. Sure, at camp last summer we would yell "God is Love. All the time. All the time. God is Love." to our campers to get their attention, but it still felt like more than just a memory.

HOW TO NATURALLY LONG LASTING ERECTIONS

Many of those who have tried to make Mr. P durable erections during sex with a partner. It became its own gratification and feels kind of party favors men as well as women if that happens.

One of the shortcuts to get long lasting erection on Mr. P often...

...a tale lasting since 573 B.C.

Graeme is one of my closest and long-lasting friends, although it had been over a year since we had last met. This weekend he and Tracy traveled the 217 miles from Glasgow to our house, to enjoy some beers and a night out in Mancunionland.

They pulled up outside the house in the last few of hours of Thursday night and after an informal greet at the door, meeting of the cats, bringing in of bags and round of bacon rolls we sat down and got stuck into a bottle of wine. Fortunately, the timing of G+T’s visit coincided impeccably with Graeme finishing his last dose of a course of antibiotics. Travel weary and mindful of the forthcoming Friday night frolics, we made the decision to sleep.

One might imagine that Graeme, having recently been ill and away from booze would take a gentle approach to his alcohol intake. Surprisingly though, once up and about Graeme and Tracy’s first port of call was the pub. After I finished work, I jumped on a bus and met them in ‘Electrik’, in Chorlton, for ‘lunch’*. Later we moved to ‘Oddest,’ where we were joined by Rachel and we began, what was to become the rest of the night. I took an opportunity to grab some shots of Graeme, which was no easy feat since his tendency to completely change position during conversation, meant that most of my shots came out blurred or caught him in mid facial spasm. Eventually we all went into town, met up with Morag, Martin and Yasmine and continued with the, now well established theme of the day; emptying the remaining dregs from our bank accounts into Manchester bar tills, in exchange for the promise of a headache morning. All in all, it was a great night and I’ll endeavor to get up to Glasgow to finish what we started.

* My lunch consisted of a small bowl of humus, sliced pitta and two pints of bitter.
