An old photo from Grand Rivers Kentucky.

Enjoy your weekend.

The grey heron that was walking at the watercourse decided, that I came too near and half jumped half flew over the water to the other side.

The great blue heron is a large wading bird in the heron family Ardeidae, common near the shores of open water and in wetlands over most of North America and Central America, as well as the Caribbean and the Galápagos Islands. It is a rare vagrant to coastal Spain, the Azores, and areas of far southern Europe. Wikipedia

Seen while strolling the beach in Oriental Bay. The plane is not really that close as I was on the telephoto end of the zoom. I guess the people living up there get used to it?

Have a good Wednesday. It's raining and 10C here and I am cooking dinner tonight.

Coming in to land at our airport this afternoon. I had only been there a few minutes and someone drove up to check what I was doing. Once he saw the camera he smiled and drove off. I guess if I was holding a drone or a laser the reaction would have been different?
