One landing rail, taken from Del Prado Dolls House kit 79. Just two pieces- the handrail and the banisters, sanded and painted gloss white. It’s a really easy win, and I wish I had got a second piece and cut it to size, because constructing the L-piece from scratch (not shown here) was just too fiddly.

Today I traveled to Weymouth to do a presentation on the Historic Gardens for the Weymouth Garden Club. I had a few minutes to explore the Town and I happened upon Sissiboo Landing, a Cultural Interpretive Centre.

The Centre was not open, but this wonderful huge carving on the front of their building made my day!

When Lockport was platted in 1836, the land along the canal from 8th to 10th Streets was set aside as a public landing. It has recently been renovated and renamed Lincoln Landing.
