Thanks Don for the preset :), but with an ATW touch :)

Soon to be gone from the roster, a pair of LS&I ex-BN U30C motors drag empty vans back to the mine at Tilden here at Eagle Mills Junction.

This started out as a grotty lumpy old Westward kit, but after removing half a ton of old metal by filing down the window pillars to something more realistic, its taken on an entirely different role, as downgraded to bus use. This pic shows the jack knife bus doors I was fabricating for it. I've also since rebuilt the front blind box to something more realistic.

Bluebells & Beech. The last few days.

I think this might be an Emery Gulash slide because I just found a similar shot from a different angle in an Emery Gulash Ann Arbor book.

Grand Elk's 120 is carefully maneuvering on the last piece of the original Lake Shore & Michigan Southern trackage in Grand Rapids, getting ready to pull some scrap loads from Padnos. This was one of the last times a train ever used this track, as a new connection was built into Padnos for the Elk off of the existing CSX spur, eliminating this part of the line. Most of it has since been abandoned, but pieces of it still exist for now. Part of the original LS&MS depot, specifically the baggage room, still stands at left, now used by Grand Valley State University.

#172 from Thursday, at Falconer Road (South Wye). This was my first time to shoot the 4000 and at the top of my list was a nice HOT shot, or two. Having missed that shot at South Fork (Grrrr, I was there and left) I did get it here. At least it meets my standards. I could get use to that blue real easy!

With George and Candy Pitarys stopping by this past Thursday naturally I had to take them out to railfan NS. Here's #167 at Waddy, Ky on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Escanaba & Lake Superior RR SD9 #1224 works at Stiles Jct., WI back in Feb. 2003. The historic depot that once stood here is now just a pile of rotted wood. Not sure if the 1224 is still in operation.
