Despite there being a chronic lack of new stock of any Matchbox at Tesco by some miracle my local store is now on its third delivery of 2022 Case B singles. This was from the second delivery and although I left much of it behind I couldn't help getting another one of their brand new 1994 Lexus LS 400 castings whilst its hype is still high.
Its cheapo grey plastic lower half is a touch disappointing but at just 1.25 each its never going to worry Tomica. Mint and boxed.
Brand new Matchbox 1994 Lexus LS 400, part of the very latest 2022 Case B now appearing at Tesco. Still predictably very hyped and only luck meant I was able to find a full case of them. Not quite as good as it could have been with its desperately cheap looking grey plastic but proportions and detailing are very good for a budget toy car. Mint and boxed.
Parabellum Luger P08 kit by LS in the 70’s. This one’s the early issue so you can see still a certain image on the box art boldly illustrated and it also came with a pistol stand which later will be sold separately to cut cost.
Because the LS was bankrupt in 1992 some of their kit moulds were purchased by other companies but somehow gun (all non-firing scale model pistol and rifle kits alike) line did not continue anywhere. Perhaps due to the low market demand with possible reason that no one wants to build and paint old school gun kits anymore whereas there are tons of ready built and beautifully finished BB soft airguns and gas guns on the market.
They are not easy to find even in Japan and can be very expensive but I love the challenge to hunt and get one by one in good price and condition and I am very happy to add this one finally to my vintage plastic kit collection.

1970 Chevelle LS-6 , #6526 - Fathom Blue with White Stripes and original Black Interior (Original Color Combination). Original Numbers Matching LS-6 454/450hp with M-22 "Rock Crusher" Transmission, and G-80 12 Bolt Positraction Rear. Other factory options included Original AM Radio. The Z-15 SS 454 Equipment Package consisted of: Dual Exhaust, Special Domed Hood, Black Accented Grille, Power Disk Brakes, Sport Wheels, Wide Oval White Letter Tires, Wheel Opening Moldings, Black Rear Bumper Panel, Bright Engine Accents, and Special Heavy Duty Chassis Features like Boxed Trailing Arms and Larger Anti-Sway Bars. This survivor is still equipped just as it was from the factory and is documented with an Original Build Sheet, Protect-O-Plate, and Original Window Sticker. The interior is all original with well preserved door panels, dash, seat belts, gauges, seats, etc... Still has a full set of T-3 Headlights, all the original under hood decals and rare dual snorkel air cleaner. It is also note worthy that this car was ordered without the striped paint scheme and without the cowl induction "flapper" hood. We purchased this car years ago from her original owner and just recently got it back from the one we sold it to. The real deal! What a find!

LS103 stands at Dormansland ‘Plough’ while taking part in this year’s East Grinstead Running Day.
The duty for it this year was four trips out to Dormansland, two on the 428 and two on the 473, both pleasant trips out into the countryside and I was entrusted two of the four rounders by its owner. 26.4.26.
