Au XVIIe siècle, les Sables-d'Olonne armaient principalement pour la morue. Dans les années 1960, la sardine et le thon dominaient. Aujourd'hui, l'activité est plus diversifiée et les principales espèces débarquées sont la sole, le bar, les seiches et encornets ainsi que le thon rouge.
I made these Walthers in 1980. At the time of purchase these copies were far cheaper than the original Japanese LS and I did not have enough money as a kid so the choice was naturally cheap ones. Now LS’s been long gone…… and this unknown company’s also been long gone too. I don’t even remember the name of the company either. Anyway I enjoyed making and painting them. I even tried to weather them too.
