Paula went to Italy last week with her sisters and she brought back a lemon from the AirB&B. It was from a tree in the owners garden.
I decided to preserve it on Flickr.
Now it is a preserved equirectangular bit of lemon skin.
It will hypnotise me if I let it.

My favourite part of my homemade lemon loaf is the lemon glaze. While tasty today, tomorrow it will be even better as the glaze slowly seeps through the loaf.
Lemon Pansy (Junonia Lemonias) is a common nymphalid butterfly found in South Asia. It is found in gardens, fallow land, and open wooded areas.

Those little lemons are bigger and heavier now, and you can see they are looking more natural, as to how they are hanging! (an update!)
Some white paper on the left to fill in the shadows, because deep shadows don't seem to work well with lemon Danish. Window light.
I seem to have tagged more images "Lemon Danish" than anyone else on Flickr. This is my fifth photo.
This was not a particularly fine lemon Danish, but I needed to buy it for the theme, "Guilty Pleasure," for Macro Mondays. There is a cute sort of heart shape on the lower right corner.
After finally deciding that I did want to do a Photography degree I had to make the decision to retake some of my A-levels. This was to improve my grade to ensure a better opportunity to get into university. Although I am not technically a student and I do not officially attend college I have coursework to do and an exam to sit next month. Today I found out that my coursework deadline is a lot shorter than I previously was aware of. Having found this out I have spent the day trying to get as much work as I can possibly get done. During this it meant I had to teach myself a new assignment and experiment with this. This was 'Digital Photograms'. The above image is the final piece from today's experiments. For my first attempt I am quite happy with it. Obviously there is MAJOR room for improvement and still a lot to learn with this.
I chose to use lemons for my image as I have been wanting to use them as a stimulus for while. Whilst chopping lemons at work to serve in customers drinks at work I have imagined various ways of capturing lemons as I find them delicate and quite beautiful. Therefore, I took this as a great opportunity for them to appear within my work.

Lemon (RM) - A lemon and its shadow.

Experimenting with a lemon in a glass with mineral water. Placement of the flash is right over the glass pointing downwards and slightly towards the camera. Only used one external flash (Nikon SB-700) + the on-camera flash. No modifications on the flash. Postprocessing done in Lightroom.
Feel free to comment on what is working, and what may be improved.
