MOC for the current contest "Post-Apocalypse Now" on www.RogueBricks.de

A new attempt to built this most lgendary ship in this most legendary color scheme. Thrusters and Cockpit move instantly with turning the model.

Built because of love but also for Roguebricks Annual Challenge!

While some Jedi, like Yoda and Ki-Adi Mundi, did field work and served the order in battle even at advanced age, not all older Jedi saw themselves fit for that task. Many Jedi veterans, no longer wanting to put their lives in danger, took up other roles within the order. While some served as librarians in the temple archives, others dedicated their lives to a deeper study of the force or chose to write down what they had experienced over the course of their active duty. Many also decided to train younglings, the future of the order, in an effort to pass on their wisdom, acquired on their journeys through the galaxy.

So, its my birthday today and what better to upload than another photo of a bunch of old guys. :D

You ever wondered how Hobbits came to be? I mean, fair, hairless faces, mildly pointy ears combined with overall shortness and lots of hair?

Meet Gromeoli Montmagnus son, a proud dwarf who never imagined himself falling helplessly in love with a nasty elf, in this case the lovely Jul'adrial Capu'ellet, who took 100 years to also totally fall for the wooing dwarf.

A love forbidden and most peculiar and stuff of legend. But the existence of Hobbits alone is enough proof i guess... 4th submission for the Brickscalibur Contest close to the finish

My last entry for round 2 of Iron Forge - A pirate bust. Like with a hidden treasure, good luck in finding all the tap pieces

I will submit this also to the Pirate Tag Team challenge at my homebase roguebricks.de, but i won't reveal who my partner is, for now

Hi!

Today I present you my newest creation which was built in 3 hours for the monthly challenge of Builder Improvement Initiative.

I hope you like it and enjoy the vibe!

New entry for the 101 elements challenge on RogueBRicks.de

Topic was ,time'.

A little obvious, but I let the cuckoo fly.

My first entry for iron forge. I used the seed part many times. 😆

Inspired by @bricklass

The next cinematic shot of my recent build for the #empiresoldenemiescollab by @gsw.lug.

An entry for Brickscaliburs 2022 contest for the Frozen North category.

Never has the snow ever melted on the peaks of the Northern Mountains and the calmness of ages manifests further with every falling snowflake.

Yet, suddenly sound carries through the stillness, clatter of metal, shrieks and grunts. Alas, it's the undead horde. The lonely monk, sole inhabitant of the Monastery of the Floating Fire makes a last stand to keep the forces of evil from enetering the realms of the living, as he does every day, until eternity

The second installment of my Uncharted: Among Thieves build series.

After learning of a treasure within reach, Drake teams up with partners Chloe and Flynn. Intending to steal their first clue, the trio attempt to infiltrate a museum in Istanbul

Trying to branch out further from my normal digital builds, I decided to really focus on structure for this installment. And taking a cue from the uber-talented builder https://www.flickr.com/photos/154489981@N04, I incorporated a recent shipment of Modulex I received. I also played around with photo lighting and editing for ages, and I'm quite happy with the results :)

The young man from Grief into the coffin boards,

Into the coffin boards and into the grave,

In the grave and in the raw earth,

And for him already gone...

The 6th and final build in my "Moments of Melancholy" series. Inspired by some random artwork I found (see my Instagram post). Other iterations of the build included having a grim reaper / skeleton in the build, but I couldn't find the right way to work it in, especially with the chosen footprint.

Only uses white, light bley, dark bley, and black. Model started in July 2023, finished June 2024, and photographed March 2025.

Can you spot the secret, camouflaged kitty?

My entry for the 6th round of the 101 parts challenge "RogueOlympics" on the German LUG RogueBricks.

This weeks theme is "Nature" and the first thing came in my mind was building a tree. And of course I had to add a Tiny Robot. This time it is the Little Robot Messy. And he is making the woods "messy".

Again 101 parts for this MOC. And again some older parts and some you wouldn't expect. Love the seaweed leaves though. They are coming with the new LEGO Ideas Winnie The Pooh set. Guess, my tree also could stand there somewhere deep in the 100 acre wood. :)

My newest building is inspired by a condo featured in one of my favorite new TV series, Orphan Black, filmed on location in Toronto.

Small MOC for the Wild West Contest on www.RogueBricks.de

Shows some people in the saloon of Salt Lake.

Power to the women

Second entry for the actual castle contest "Nine Kingdoms - Blades of Light" on www.RogueBricks.de

Just a small vignette, which shows what Lady van Gooch is doing while her man is fighting for the country somewhere far, far away. Maybe he looses an ear?

My entry for the 'American Dream' contest held on www.RogueBricks.de

Have you ever thought about the American Dream? Rising from nothing to wealth? From rags to riches?

In this MOC i tried to put three things together: The great depression where a lot of people lost everything, people who try to become rich while selling their goods and chattels or playing music on the streets. And - as a third part - people who also tried to make money with criminal actions like selling alcohol while the prohibition was still part of daily life.

My build for the swfactions Home LTC which depicts a Pentastar Alignment Corporate Apartment on Entralla.

Stannis Orum Stood from his breakfast to see who was knocking on the door of his apartment this early in the morning, usually he would have another half-hour to himself in the morning before heading into his office on Entralla.

"Who is it!" Stannis yelled, stilled groggy with sleep.

"Corporate security sir," replied an unfamiliar voice, "I'm here to summon you for an urgent meeting."

Opening the door and watching the blue uniformed guard walk toward him Stannis asked, "what meeting needs me this early in the morning? I haven't even eaten my breakfast, and I'm not sure I'll make it through a meeting without it," he said with a smile.

"Very well sir, finish your food, get changed and then I need you to come with me, it's urgent"

"Alright alright," Stannis sighed as he sat down again, "you still haven't told me what this meeting is about."

"And I'm not at liberty to," replied the guard shortly.

Stannis with a groan, "figured you'd say that, just wait outside, I'll be ready in a few minutes."

The guard turned and left, the heavy metal door sliding back into place behind him. Stannis rubbed his eyes and started to shovel down his food.

Water mill inspired by an old model train water mill.

With BrickWorld Michigan coming up on September 23-24 (at Suburban Showplace in Novi), I am making a final effort to finish this monstrosity for display there.

The walls are almost complete but the roof remains to be built. The tower is currently lacking two upper levels plus a curved mansard roof. The tower is currently 3 feet, 7 inches (1.1 meters) high and will be about 5 feet high (1.6 meters) high when complete.

"Like a bantha."

This idea popped into my head and it hasn't left since. Enjoy Lieutenant Havoc saddle up on my custom Vulture Droid in my latest moc for the 253rd Elite Legion. 😎

Hi, Today I present you a rework of the vintage Lego Castle set “Trasure Cart” 1463. I was enjoying making it because my Dad was super happy to look at his childhood memories which are repeating in my LEGO Atelier :) I’m so happy with the final look! Hope you guys like it

My build for Droneuary this year, continuing my idea of mohawked drones! Technically I built this last year but wasn’t able to finish the legs until a few days afterwards (My first two attempts couldn't support the weight properly). Then this month I ended up building a different base for it that’s much better than what I previously had, and finally took pictures of it. This is also my tallest drone/mech overall, at just over 1 foot tall, which made for a different building process for me. Overall I’m really pleased with how it turned out, I love how the dark blue and yellowish green look together, and am super satisfied with the shaping I achieved to make it look slender but menacing. Hope you all enjoy it too!

See some detail shots here.

Fight on the water

Third entry for the actual castle contest "Nine Kingdoms - Blades of Light" on www.RogueBricks.de

For this I wanted to do something different and build no ship. The MOC shows a fight on a tree trunk in the water. Guess who wins...

Figbarf for the Wild West Contest on www.RogueBricks.de

Shows

Tom Trapper and his horse.

These buildings are based on certain architectural elements found in NYC. Especially the fire escape in front, a corner deli and neighborhood restaurants.

For the RogueOlympics on www.RogeuBricks.de I built a camera with only 101 parts, which you can find on my stream.

I liked this first 101 parts MOC so much, that I decided to build it again - but then without part limit.

The camera itself is only build with LEGO parts and, the Nintendo set tiles fitting perfectly for the screen on the backside. Also the objektive is brick build in this one.

Attention all Nova League members,

the most problematic unit of the Centuri Special Forces are the Hazard Snipers. They are equipped with high performance hazard gear, able to shield them from most toxic substances, acids and other biological hazards. The suit can also withstand high voltage and even absolute vacuum. They will most likely set up in seemingly impossible to reach places to have the best shot. Be sure to check any possible sniper position before moving on your target. The range of their sniper rifle is about 2000 meters, so keep in mind to check that radius. They are also armed with melee weapons, but less proficient in using them. Best take them out in close combat.

The last figure from my latest fig-off. A new MoC will be up tomorrow.

The #MetroidFoesCollab was a great collab, with great people, who are all great lego builders!

Speaking as someone who has never played the games and didn’t know the source material going in, I became very attached to the various art styles of each different game and tried my best to create a middle ground where the different Queens' characteristics could blend together. That's opposite to the point in building which had the most critical thinking involved - attaching the supports of the Queen directly to the ground through the stomach - which required a lot of lego math to get right!

Samus’ suit is based off a modified ACM-Frame by @moc.cls ! It’s a compact, easily customizable design, which perfectly fit the scale I knew I needed to provide some action to the scene.

I actually tried all, but some didn't look nice... those look really weird! I just kept those that I liked...

A closer look at the Padawan, featured in my latest vignette.

My LEGO build of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

You can help make it a real LEGO set by voting for it on LEGO Ideas:

A collab myself and Ron put together over a week or two.

It shows off an impressive Porsche Ron made, fitted with some cool exhaust and aero parts.

My car is The Koenigsegg Agera, decorated with some classic Swedish racing colors and an Octan sponsorship.

All of this was built in 1/43 scale, as you can see from the minigigure to car comparison.

Thanks for looking!

TIE-Fighter-Pilots were not highly praised throughout their service, but their skill was undeniable. Flying crafts not equipped with shields or Hyperspace engines, they were braver than most usual pilots and extraordinarily skilled in combat. Though usually useless on their own, squads of TIE fighters mostly were victorious, when flying in formation.

Another figure from my recent figbarf.

A houseboat in goth style.

This is my attempt to portray the famous Fisher Building out of Lego bricks. The prototype is one of my favorite buidings in the city by Albert Kahn, who is also one of my favorite architects.

The Lego skyscraper model is 6.5 feet high to the roof and 7.5 feet high overall. It weighs about 230 pounds and used about 105,000 bricks in its construction. The building is designed in about 20 sections for portability. The model as shown here was part of a Michigan Lego Train Club (MichLTC) layout at the Rock Financial Center in Novi, Michigan.

This building made number 10 on an obscure blog's list of 20 Famous Skyscrapers Reproduced in Lego.

Water mill inspired by an old model train water mill.

Entry for the final round of the 101 parts challenge on RogueBricks.de

Topic this week: Elements.

But don't use more than 101 parts in your MOC.

I did a pun and built an ELEphant who comes out a ceMENT mixer. So we have ELE & MENT.

MOC for 'Murder on RogueStreet' - the october contest on the German LUG www.RogueBricks.de

The salon shows the crime scene with five victims. They are laying in a circle and every victim has a pistol in his hand.

This is the hardest case for Sherlock and his dog Holms.

The figbarf just shows the involved persons: the victims, the butler, the inspector, Sherlock and his dog Holms.

Hope you like it.

A closer look at the Jedi Red Coat who lost an arm.

A first detail shot of my recent diorama for #dathomircollab.

RogueOlympics Round 5, theme is "Uplift". As every week we're limited to 101 Bricks

The last cinematic shot from my recent build for the Muunilinst collab. I have some more builds ready, but it might still take me a while to take proper photos of them.

For FebRovery

This was my first try:

Al the Alien and Nanny Droid IG 11 found a wrecked Lego Lotus and decided to rebuild it into a Rover.

They are not very good at it, but they just kept slapping pieces together and adding as much as they could.

They searched the Lego Junk Yard and found red lights which they thought would be very cool and a section of fence. They agreed it would make a very handy sunroof.

When they took it for a test drive in the snow, they got stuck.

IG11 pointed out that they had plenty of Blasters mounted on their Rover so they could easily melt the snow and go on!

Al said he'd seen a nice John Deere Tractor in a nieghbor's yard and maybe they should go get some Big Tires!

This was so much fun. Thank you to my Lego Photography friends for telling me about:

A small scene to let me practice rendering with Blender 2.8 :)

I used the Mecabricks advanced addon, then composited the image in Blender. Finally, I exported to GIMP 2.10 for some final tweaks.

This is merely an attempt to improve my rendering skill, so I can take my builds to the next level with at least sub-par presentation ;P
