So the 14th of December 2021 marks one year from when I uploaded my first build on flicker. And so to commemorate one year I have redone that first build.
Second Round of Iron Forge.
Challenge: Use the parts 4522 (Tool Hammer/ Mallet) and part 4006 (Tool Spanner Wrench/ Screwdriver).
Don't feed the LE(G)Opard - who will be the last competitor in the Iron Forge / Iron Builder challenge.
Fourth entry: Checking out on a leopard.
Rogue Olympics Round 7 - Time
Really cool theme this time...only problem was the parts limit...this time I had to get down from 138 parts to 101... The 136 parts design had sand in it, but I had to sacrifice that aspect.
I used 101 parts for this build.
A lone knight enters the ruins of an old church now serving as the command post of a Orc chief. The knight has only one goal in mind, to slay all in his path until the chief is dead.
Back again with another vignweek build, this build depicts what may be everyday life in the future, for those who live on mars at least, remember let me know what you think of this build in the comments!
Here is a shot of my 2 custom ski/skimm speeders. I scaled them down in order for them to scale to the walker properly. The official LEGO ones are too large in my opinion :)
Chapter 1 - The Gangs of Coruscant
Part 15 - Feet on the Ground
There was no escape now. Jona let go and dropped the last ten meters to the floor. The flaming mess, that was the Rodian’s speeder, hit the ground, bursting into a thousand metal scraps. Her trajectory irritated by the shock wave, Jona landed face first. It felt like her brain hit the front of her skull and it took her whole strength to keep her eyes open and not give in to unconsciousness. She push her head up from the ground to look around. The speeder had crashed a few meters in front of her. Most of the passenger’s side was gone, leaving only the pilot half intact. Fuel was leaking from the wreck. The shrapnel had carved deep wounds into the concrete and most of the debris was still glowing with heat from the explosion. The Rodian had been been catapulted from the cockpit by the impact and was laying amidst the debris. Jona didn’t know much about Rodian physique, but she was pretty sure a crash at that speed would have killed an average human with ease. There was no way the Rodian could have survived this. Her vision was still blurry, but she could see that they had crashed on the lower levels of the city, the home of the poor and a hive for scum of all kind. Jona could hear screams and whining. Injured people were laying on the ground while others were running for safety. Suddenly, there was movement amidst the debris. Jona didn’t know how, but the Rodian was still alive and he had the holocron! There was no way she would let him escape! She brought herself up on her feet, but immediately crouched back down. There was a sharp pain in her chest. She had broken at least two ribs in the fall, but she couldn’t worry about that now. Stumbling but determined, she followed the Rodian, who apparently still knew where he was heading. He might have gained a few meters, but definitely had taken some hits in the crash, too. Jona could see a trail of purple blood on the floor. Good. She could still sense the holocron and it gave her strength, an advantage the Rodian definitely didn’t have. She ignited her lightsaber again. Feeling the familiar pulsing of the blade in her hand increased her determination even further. The fugitive made his way along shops and garages until he reached an entrance to one of the city’s large tunnel networks. The chase was going underground.

- Chapter 1 -
• Western Russia, Kazan region
When the Russian Government relocated to Yekaterinburg due to western Russia being in decay from the NATO retaliation strikes, many stayed behind, some of them upset with the new government signing a peace deal with the West.
Small separatist military groups have sprung up, comprising of former soldiers and personnel of the Russian military, along with upset locals, wanting to topple the new government or gain independence for their regions.
Acquiring heavy firepower from abandoned military depots, they attack Russian military patrols that secure the border in the Kazan region, disrupting the new government’s influence and control of Western Russia, and taking over key military infrastructures. The already weakened government stresses priority on suppressing these small uprisings, before they grow more relentless.
Very happy to share with you my contribution to Epilogue Collab, an initiative to inspire other military builders with a fictional near-future story. This build has been very fun to make, and I’m happy to have been able to try out new techniques and ideas for this one. More details on Instagram.

Again a small MOC for the Online RPG we are playing on the German LUG www.RogueBricks.de
This time the challenge was to build somethings with orcs and how they live. Based on the earlier storytelling of @-wat- I figured out the landscape, trees and figures.
I really loved to put some other 'faces' of HP and SW into this MOC.
Technicals played an important role in the 1990s Somali Civil War and the War in Somalia (2006–2009). After the fall of the Siad Barre regime and the collapse of the Somali National Army (SNA), it was rare for any Somali force to field heavy armored fighting vehicles. However, technicals were very common. -Wikipedia
Made for the first Battle of Mogadishu (1993)
This little something is a memorial in my home town to remember the first finding of salt, the city's reason for great wealth in the middle ages.
A group of rebel soldiers has decided to attack a small imperial outpost on Geonosis. It's hard to believe this planet once witnessed two major battles during the Clone Wars! Today, it's deserted, devoid of any life and almost peaceful. Only a few Imperial bases blemish the landscape. Fortunately, our rebels are here to eliminate the enemy forces and secure the outpost... unless...
Luke 2:1-7
1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
Merry Christmas everyone!!! I wanted to build something for Christmas, as I've done multiple for Easter and Good Friday before, but nothing for Christmas. Quite happy with how this turned out, I wish the lighting was better in the stable, but whatever, you can still see most of the details. Anyway, enjoy, and have a wonderful Christmas celebrating Jesus' birth!

Some new soldiers for the POTC Contest on the German LUG Rogue Bricks (www.RogueBricks.de).
My first entry in this category. Nothing special so far, but you need some soldiers to fight against pirates.
Pirates will come next.
HARR HARR.
After the swarms were neutralized, the Matoran quickly found a way to harness the Bohrok's rolling locomotion to traverse Mata Nui with greater speed.

A classroom blackboard with the impulse graph on it, can you finish it?
For the RogueOlympics 2022, round 6 - Impulse (not more then 101 bricks, this is 90)
Minifig scale version of the V-wing starfighter, with accurate proportions, details, and it can land as it seen in Revenge of the Sith and Battlefront 2 (2017).
Since I finished my very first version of this model, I was constantly updating parts of it. This latest update contains the biggest changes. While it looks quite same to previous versions, with more studless external panel, it has significant changes to the inner structure. It’s almost a new model, rather than another update, as the whole width by 1 stud, which required a lot of rework.
The main goal was to have more sleeker upper panels, as I have keept seeing new, approaches like SNOT by Malen Garek and panel-tile-SNOT hybrid by The last Brickbender
I wanted as thin edges as possible, so I went for the hybrid design, using mainly tiles on plates with overlaping panels, to create the angle. I also separated the rear part of the main panel, at the angle change, to a quite complex SNOT section, which worked out well to have accurate representation of the color scheme.
I the wings, I removed as much studs and antistuds as it was possible with maintaining details and functions. The previous versions all had a fix spacer wedged between the connections of the wings on each side. It’s funcrtion was to keep the wings at the right position in landing mode, but due to that the wings was too much in an angle in flying mode. I designed a new spacer, which can be turned to be able to change of the angle of the wings, but also can be locked in place in landing, to hold the weight of the ship.
The underside also needed a big change, now the angles and details are much more accurate.
I also changed small bits like the guns, but my favorite is the curved tubes on the underside of the cylinders at the wings, which I was able to recreate with black sausage pieces.
I’m really happy whit the this updates and I quite loving this model now.

Many changes had to be made to the way House Atreides ruled the worlds under their charge. Oceans and greenery had been switched out for desert tundras and unbearable heat, in what felt like over night. Their technological might was flawed in a place such as Arrakis. Luckily there was one thing proven to work. A sport-flying vehicle designed by a political dissident nearly 17,000 years prior. The Ornithopter. Taking its inspiration from the flexibility of birds, it flaunted its skill at navigating atmospherics. This would be House Atreides first step, and hope, into regaining control.
This moc was originally reverse engineered and inspired by the slightly smaller Ornithopter by the amazing @bricksized on instagram! Go see the model on their page and check out the helpful instructions that are provided to help make your own!

First detail shot of my recent vignette for the 253rd Elite Legion.
Highland folklore warns little lambs that wild haggis will feast on the heart, lungs, and liver of any stray sheep unlucky enough to cross their path whilst travelling alone.
For #FlossyFleecefoot, that day was today! Not long after leaving Whispering Woods behind, poor Flossy was attacked by a horde of ravenous haggis.
Fortune’s Frond was quick to act though, and somehow summoned Flossy’s ursine best friend, Margaret, to assist her in this skirmish. With Margaret eating every second haggis, this brave wee sheep only had to deflect the occasional airborne haggis with her trusty unicorn shield. Let the haggis bashing commence!

In his last hours as his city’s defender, Lhikan knew the 6 matoran to become the next toa must be chosen wisely. But a dark presence lay in his mind. In our world, the Order of Mata Nui held sway over this darkness and the correct matoran were chosen. But in another world, this was not so.
In another universe Makuta Teridax was successful in pushing Lhikan to make the wrong choices. A team of misfits and traitors that would never stand united against the dark. One of these chosen matoran, was Teridax’s faithful servant Ahkmou, soon to be leader of this twisted version of the Toa Metru.
But something unexpected happened. Ahkmou, the once greedy po-matoran, who had only ever wanted the respect of his peers, had his dreams fulfilled. He held to his new responsibility, with dreams of duty and thoughts of destiny, and for the first time in his life made the right choice.
In the briefest of moments, Ahkmou and his team that never should have been, shone brightly to all the universe of the potential toa heroes they could be… But they were not strong enough; struck down by Teridax’s Rahkshi. Ahkmou fell to the poison blade of Lerahk, a near death of a thousand cuts as penance for his defiance, and became a servant of the Makuta’s will once again, now and for all time.

Shows how some guys of the Salt Lake Gang preparing a robbery.
As my friend Sanel built a MOC for the Nine Kingdoms with snow, I also wanted to build snow, which I never did before. Combined with the western style it fits very well. So, all credits to Sanel.

I designed a climbing gym made with Lego bricks. It is submitted on Lego Ideas.com. If it will gather 10000 supporters, it will gain the chance to become an official Lego set.
In only two weeks, it already gathered more than 1000 supporters and keep growing. The next milestone is at 5000 and it will give more time to the project.
With your help it might become reality!
Just take a couple of minute of your time, click the link below and find out all the cool details of the build! I hope you will enjoy it and you will login and support it!

The detective adventures of "The Three ???" have been my favorite audiobooks since I was a kid, and I usually listen to it while building. They are based on the book series "The Three Investigators" by Robert Arthur.
For the current contest "Childhood memories" on wwwRogueBricks.de" I put together a figbarf of the main characters.
The three ??? are Justus Jonas, Peter Shaw and Bob Andrews. They are standing in the middle of the photo, together with the parrot Blacky (actually Blackbeard).
To the left of the three are Uncle Titus and Aunt Mathilda Jonas, with whom Justus grows up.
To the right of the detectives stand the detectives' arch-enemy: Skinny Norris. To his right you can see the figure of Inspector Cotta, an assistant to the three ??? at the local police in the fictional town of Rocky Beach.
The house is a calm and silent place to call home. The livingroom is hovering above the still water of the swimming pool. The living area is divided into different floor levels. Kitchen and toilet are located on ground floor. Landing, livingroom, bedroom and bathroom can be found on next level. A combined music and reading corner is hosted on the highest level. A friend of mine told me that she imagined this house to be located in Italy. I think that Italy is a very good guess.
Round 2 of Iron Forge, seed part is the tap piece.
In this scene, i wanted to capture the classic Aquanauts atmosphere and combine it with Ninjago to go along with the current line in stores, in which the Ninja go under water.
An innocent Aquanaut Explorer is under attack by an Aquashark thug, luckily Jay is there for the rescue
Downtown Records is a modular record shop, ready and waiting to take it’s place in your LEGO city, I have packed it with brick built detail as well as custom printed parts (two of my favourite things about LEGO sets). I will gradually be revealing more of this project over time, but to start with I have revealed images of the building from the front, the side and the record store interior.
In total, Downtown Records contains about 3000 bricks and is divided into three sections. The bottom section includes a street scape including traffic light and crossing, leafy tree (I am particularly happy with how the tree turned out – I only had to rebuild it four times!) and a small news stand. Inside on the ground floor of the building there is the record store itself with shelves bulging with custom printed records on 2×2 tiles, a bathroom, and access to the staircase leading upstairs.
My aim with the design of the facade was to create a believable downtown two storey brick-faced building with stucco detailing and ornate architectural cornicing.
So if you would like to help make Downtown Records a real LEGO set, it’s free to support, all you need to do is head on over to LEGO Ideas, sign up for an account and hit that blue support button!
