My entry to day 5 of Rebellug vignweek. The prompt was upside down, so I tried a little something new. I thought doing an underwater cave could work well for the prompt and I used upside down trans plates to simulate air pockets along with while building being upside down.
I'm back with my newest moc, the Red London Telephone Box.
The model contains 1856 pieces and features lots of interesting details. The door can be opened to reveal an authentic detailed interior, complete with an old fashioned telephone.
As well as the phone box I've also included a British pillar box and a street lamp complete with hanging flower baskets.
I think the iconic London Telephone Box would be a great subject for a LEGO IDEAS set so I've uploaded it to the LEGO IDEAS website. If you like the model I'd be really grateful if you could head over and give the model your support. 10,000 votes and it could become a real set.
Thanks very much.

One of my reasons for building British Locos has always been liveries. Just so many fantastic options for color and display.
I’ve tackled building in multiple liveries in the past, but now with a few years of building experience under belt, I really want to try some old builds again (like the pannier, the N7) and see how big this Trainbow can get :) I’ve got ideas for dark brown, lime, purple, and light blue. But any other ideas y’all can think of please let me know! (I need an idea for yellow or tan!)
With 18 stories, over 9000 LEGO pieces and measuring over 6 feet tall, this modern skyscraper is the tallest, largest building in the Wasabi District!
Some days ago a lovely friend sent the little robot Sporty to me. As a thank you I built a bike for the robot and named it after her. This one is also my entry for the first round of the annual contest "RogueOlympics" on www.RogueBricks.de were everybody can participate the next 8 weeks. Just check the site if you are interested.
The challenge in the first round is "Free build with 101 parts".
Sporty is from the theme Duplo Explore: Little Robots. And there are more of them :D
On the backside of the magic wall, the twins emerged onto the actual train platform. Waiting for them was the Hogwarts Express, a fiery red steam train, puffing out white steam that made your sight blur. The whole platform was crowded with kids, parents, owls and magical pets of all kind, hurriedly loading luggage onto the trains wagons. The two were about to run off into the crowd, when their mother and Mr. Copperbottom appeared, just in time to hold them back. Mrs. Honeycutt had spent more than enough time looking for the twins in crowded places like shopping centers, zoos and amusement parks, since they had a natural talent from evading ones line of sight, no matter how much one kept an eye on them. She figured, looking for them in a magical place like this would prove even harder, so she kept her hands on their shoulders, until they had reached the door of one of the train wagons. The twins turned to their mother. „Now, it seems I can’t keep these from you any longer.“ She fetched their wands from her purse and held them out. The twins wanted to grab them, but she drew them back for a second. „Promise you won’t cause any trouble with them?“ „Yes, of course!“ „Trouble? Us? We’d never…“ Adrian answered with an innocent smile. Mrs. Honeycutt raised an eyebrow and gave him a cheeky smile. The Twin’s hands finally enclosed the wood of the wands. „I love you.“ Mrs. Honeycutt said, giving them a kiss on the forehead. „We love you too, mom.“ they answered. Mr. Copperbottom hauled the last suitcase onto the train, just as it slowly started moving. The twins waved their hands as the train vanished into the distance. Their mother held her smile until they were out of sight, but then wiped a few tears from her eyes. „They’ll be fine.“ Mr. Copperbottom said reassuringly and handed her a handkerchief. „I know.“ Mrs. Honeycutt answered and they turned back to the magical wall, which led back to the Muggle world.
Finally aboard the train, the twins couldn’t sit still for a second. Since no-one was there to stop them, they quickly unpacked all of their magical equipment from their recent shopping tour. Soon, the whole compartment was cluttered with quills, boilers, books and clothes as well as crumbs of cookies, which they had brought as snacks and equally distributed between themselves and Harold, their new pet owl, who was happily cooing about. Soon however, their belongings had been properly inspected and loosely thrown back into their cases. Of course, the idea of trying out their wands lay at hand, but a few unsuccessful attempts prove that there was more to magic than just swinging a stick of wood around and the twins were back to boredom. The journey prove to be longer than expected. Thus, Adrian suddenly got up and proposed a discovery tour through the train wagon, an idea that instantly won Abby’s approval. Leaving Harold to watch the luggage, the two of them slipped out of their compartment and started peeking through the windows of the neighboring ones. Earning nothing more than a few irritated looks and rejecting hand gestures at the first few, they finally struck gold at the rear of the wagon. Behind the thin glass that separated the compartment from the corridor was a dense, bright green jungle of hundreds of plants. Adrian almost hadn’t noticed the boy sitting amidst the greenery, had he not cursed loudly as he cut his finger on the scissors he was trimming a particularly green plant’s leaves with. Abby slowly opened the door of the compartment and warm, misty air hit her face. She carefully tip toed her way through the forest of plants in all kinds of pots and jars that covered the floor. „Careful or the the snake tendril will catch you.“ Abby looked up and saw the boy with the scissors point to her left leg, which a thin, bright green branch of a plant was slowly moving towards. Abby brought her leg out of reach of the plant. „Why do you have all these plants with you?“ Adrian asked, admiring the greenery that spread through the compartment. „Ah…“ the boy sighed, „Now that I’m going to Hogwarts, my parents are traveling the worlds and my mother can’t take her greenhouse with her. She told me to give the plants to Professor Sprout, when I arrive.“ He took a look through the compartment. „Though, I have no idea how to even get all of them out of the compartment, let alone the train, on my own.“ „We can help!“ Abby chimed instantly. „I’m Abby by the way and this is my brother Adrian.“ The boy’s face lit up. „That would be awesome! Together we can do it! Oh, and my name is Liam.“ He got up from his seat. „Now, I’m no expert, but there are some plants my mom warned me to be careful with, the Razor Lily for example…“ he went on to explain several plants to them, some of which sounded more dangerous than even the most notorious beasts of prey, as he casually handed them over to the twins. Abby listened to him with utmost curiosity, while Adrian did admire the plants, but cared little for what their story was. By the time they arrived at Hogwarts, Abby had gained quite a substantial knowledge of magical flora. After changing into their new school uniforms, the trio made their way onto the platform at Hogsmeade, packed to the brim with pots and jars. Gladly, they were soon relived of their photosynthetic luggage by Professor Sprout, the teacher for herbology, who had been informed by Liam’s mother of the plants arrival. Glad to be freed of the plants, that, as Adrian swore, even had grown in the short time they had carried them, the three of them made their way to a tall, bearded man in a brown coat. He introduced himself to them as Hagrid and led them to the shore of a lake, where a few boats were towed. They occupied one of them and thus took yet another step towards Hogwarts, which awaited on the opposite side of the lake.

A late happy easter to you and your families! I hope you like this new part of my Harry Potter story. It took me a while to get the story right, long enough to have built the next part already. So, stay tune for more coming soon!
Freebuild for the RPG 'Nine Kingdoms' on the new German LUG RogueBricks (www.RogueBricks.de).
After playing the RPG on our old site we moved to the new one.
This moving is part of the MOC, 'settling abroad' which I build with my son (Manis Andor) who has giving me also the idea for this freebuild.
Hope you like it.
With 18 stories, over 9000 LEGO pieces and measuring over 6 feet tall, this modern skyscraper is the tallest, largest building in the Wasabi District!
Adapted from the MAG-1 skycar chassis, this low orbit fighter offers agility and firepower in a compact frame, if only at the cost of pilot safety.
Priscilla Bramblewhisk, a squirrelling ranger, has always enjoyed an adventure since she was a wee-squirrelling. Whether it was climbing trees, hopping over rocks, or exploring burrows of other creatures within her realm. As she grew older, her adventures grew grander, though her parents may disagree for danger always loomed, and took her to further new places.
Upon one such adventure, a tribe of mandrake blights tried to capture her. Darting and dodging away from their lunges, one grabbed Priscilla by the ankle and tackled her. Lucky for her, kicking the blight twice in the head knocked the rooty face clear off! She quickly decided to stuff the wooden head into her backpack before darting out of the burrow.
When she finally returned back to her family burrow, bruised and battered, she was weary to try such an adventure again. Once she remembered the head of the mandrake blight stuffed into her pack, she decided that should not stop her adventures. Better yet, her first unfriendly encounter should be a reminder to herself to always seek passage, and maybe even a warning sign to other beings she may stumble across in future expeditions.
Priscilla now always brings her trusty quarterstaff with her. Serving as a walking stick, weapon, and reminder to foes that she is not to be trifled with!
There are many stories revolving around spectacular robberies of trains and post carriages from the old days of wild west. Some of them are more convoluted than others, though, like the story of John „Dandy“ Slim, the notorious gunslinger and ladies man. „Dandy“ Slim had committed various dreadful crimes before his final heist. Robbing banks and carriages, stealing horses, cattle and gold, he had always been one step ahead of the authorities and close to the women’s hearts. This might sound strange, but most women liked him, for he showed their husbands that they were not all mighty and often embarrassed them with his extraordinarily spectacular and effective ways of taking their gold and money away. For what should be his final heist, he had apparently chosen a National Bank gold transfer headed for the west coast. Ladden with gold, diamonds and finest whisky, this transport was worth a fortune and would guarantee any robber a luxurious life style for the rest of his days. Sherif Richard Montgomery Barns was sent out to keep the fright save. He had gotten word of Slim’s planned heist and hid with his men aboard the train. Slim and his associates were quickly outnumbered and taken into custody. They should have been transferred to a prison at the west coats upon the trains arrival, however, shortly after their capture the train was forced to stop because of damaged train tracks. Since the ranch of Alistor Cray, a wealthy landlord, was nearby, the Sherif decided to lock away Slim and his gang in there until they could continue their journey. Guards were posted all around the ranch and Slim was locked away as securely as possible. Yet, the next day no trace of him or the gold could be found. All doors were still locked and the guards couldn’t remember a thing. The case remained a mystery for a long time, as the sherif and landlord wondered what outside force could have managed to pull this off. The truth was only discovered months later, when landlord Cray’s wife disappeared, leaving a letter for her flabbergasted husband. She had fallen madly in love with „Dandy“ Slim and run away to reunite with him. The day of the robbery, she damaged the tracks, given the guards poisoned whisky and opened the locks for Slim and his gang, just as they had planned. Locking everything again afterwards, she had stayed behind to not draw any attention. After her letter was submitted to the authorities, a massive search for her and Slim was started, but they were never found. Some say they fled to Europe, some say to the far East, some say to Russia, but they all agree that they had fled to a better life, being blessed with endless amounts of money and true love for each other.

Here are my western themed figures for the second round in the @figbarfcentral fig-off-tournament against benthebrickbuilder. This was a nice challenge and I had quite some fun working on the forced perspective background.
Another shot from my The Clone Wars diorama. Yet again it took a weird combination of different mini figures to get him right.
Beware the scourge of the seven seas: Cpt. Snuzzles and his band of rodent robbers. Finally an opportunity to use all these carrots. The swords are the bunnies' ears
Another one for Iron Forge 2023, round 1. the seed part is any minifigure sword.

Ever since I saw the Hornby advert in my magazine from April I’ve wanted to recreate this pack. For me the colors are so pleasing and I’m very content.
Please support on Lego Ideas, it’s FREE: ideas.lego.com/projects/6b604c85-8902-4cf2-b057-45a1a02f3db1
I made this moving PacMan display that uses inter channel figures. The actual IDEA project page has gifs that show the moving of the figures in the build. The movement is done with a manual crank on the side of the stand which can be seen on other images in the project. The ghost figures on the stand are interchangeable with the figures you see on the side.
Please support the project on Lego Idea if this is something you’re interesting in! Supporting is free! Thanks so much for your time!
Here's a picture of a WIP build. It's an excuse to post life updates. :)
1. I’m basically in a dark age now - all I do is look at Brickset a couple times a day. I wanted to finish I Dreamt of Rust this summer, but as a college kid I’ve been working full time instead.
2. This also means I Dreamt of Rust is on hold. I WILL finish it. I'm just a perfectionist so it's taking a while. I have 2 out of 3 sets finished for the next episode. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.
3. I don’t have many followers to begin with, but sorry if I’m letting anyone down 😬 I do plan on coming back to Lego, but only when I have time. I haven’t lost interest at all - I just don’t have time and have to prioritize other things right now.
Still love Lego, still love the community, just need to focus on other stuff for now and the foreseeable future.

Rich is the man who does have so little wealth, yet is lucky to be able to share it with his loved ones. Rich is not the man with a bucket of gold but rich is the man with the golden heart
Built for Brickscaliburs Coop category "Rich and Poor", in which i had to partner up with a fellow builder to make two MOCs in total. Thanks so so much for jumping in helpfully @Patric Gnepf so close to the finish line.
The counterpart build is here:

Space battleship Yamato is a fictional spacecraft from 1974 TV-series Space battleship Yamato (also known a Star Blazers in US). In the show humanity built a gigantic warmachine inside of the wreck of the famous japanese battleship Yamato, which sank in WW2, in order to save Earth from alien invaders.
My Lego version of this iconic ship is rather tiny, so figuring out all the complex curves of the hull was a tricky task. The build also comes with an articulated stand, which is pretty fun to play around with.

Another detail shot of my recent Takumi Chicken & Veggie vignette.
MOC I built for the Green Zone of the LEGO House in Billund.
It shows an oriental scene with a house, a garden and a caravan.
While setting the MOC up in Billund, I put more details in it - but the pics aren't that good.
If you ever get the chance to visit the LEGO House: DO IT! It is awesome!
On a recent trip to the coast, I noticed the many ways in which Land meets Water.
This MOC is an attempt to mimic rockwork as arches using plates. The result was a bowl shaped island which I made into a self sustained island village.
Day 839: John and I made some ground today. Still a long way to go. Found some corn, not the good kind though. We’ve made camp at an old auto garage, decent enough but the water’s no good. No company today, let’s see how long it lasts..
VAREC 01 – a compact speeder (space bike) built from set 42136, continuing the Astroline Space series I began earlier this year.

Fight on the water
Third entry for the actual castle contest "Nine Kingdoms - Blades of Light" on www.RogueBricks.de
For this I wanted to do something different and build no ship. The MOC shows a fight on a tree trunk in the water. Guess who wins...
I always thought a minifig hand upside down reminded me of the Eiffel Tower, so I just had to see what it would look like to replace the original model in this set.
(More of my MOCs can be seen at my Instagram account)
Hi! Today I come to you with my third build for Vignweek 2023. The prompt was to build an unexpected conflict so I decided to go with two nostalgic themes Ninjago and Minecraft. I hope you enjoy it!
