A Space Pirate's ship
Build made with Bricklink Studio 2.0 with existing parts and image enhanced and edited in Photoshop.
I build a micro version of the iconic USS Enterprise (NCC-1701).
To create the signature red markers, I used an original LEGO sticker sheet.
It's a simple model, but if you need instructions, they're available for free at Rebrickable.com
I hope you like the ship.
On this day in 1957 (October 4th) the Soviet Union's Sputnik 1 became the first artificial satellite to orbit the Earth. It sent a radio signal back to Earth for three weeks before its three silver-zinc batteries ran out, and continued in orbit for two months until aerodynamic drag caused it to fall back into the atmosphere on January 4th 1958. Tracking and studying Sputnik 1 from Earth provided scientists with valuable information. The density of the upper atmosphere could be deduced from its drag on the orbit, and the propagation of its radio signals gave data about the ionosphere.
The launch surprised the US public, shattering notions of western technological superiority. Consequently, the satellite's unanticipated success precipitated the American Sputnik crisis and triggered the Space Race. The launch was the beginning of a new era of political, military, technological and scientific developments. Naturally, it was a huge propaganda coup for the Soviets.
The word sputnik is Russian for satellite when interpreted in an astronomical context; its other meanings are spouse or traveling companion.
Sputnik 1 in this image is based on the design by Tim Goddard and Peter Reid in their amazing book LEGO Space: Building the Future.
I'm a big fan of vertically-oriented ships, and this one I'm particularly pleased with how it turned out, especially with the semi-retractable landing gear.
Somehow the shape puts me in mind of a fish of some kind, and being a fan also of prehistoric life (even if I don't build it all that much) I'm calling this the LL313 Coelacanth
The Sharkclaw is a shipping and cargo vessel for hire. For the right price, this space vessel will transport anything from exotic creatures to construction vehicles, to your mothers china set.
A newly bearded Lt Cmdr. Samuel Steele updates Captain Knight on the latest information downloaded from deep space probe before Nova Team heads out on their newest mission.

For those who are interested, unfortunately I am unable to sell the Nova Team minifigures or designs due to the use of the "Classic Space" logo which is owned and trademarked by The LEGO Group. My custom designed figures and use of the official "Classic Space" logo is for personal use only in my MOCs and photography. By the same token, I will not give away the design files and source material either. Thank you for understanding! Trust me, if I could legally sell these, I would.
it knows nothing about color, race, or looks.
It just is.
And flowers are the universal language.
Black plastic base, Flower seed packets, and Lego flowers to make the scene.

With Nova Team's preliminary research of the Oasis's unique microorganisms complete, it's time to send a report back to Deep Space Station Arcturus and the rest of the Federation's Science Division. Here we have chief engineer Lt Cmdr Mason Marshall adjusting the communications array of the R-RAV so a signal can get through the atmosphere's ionic storms and be relayed by their ships in orbit.

Another recolour for my Bubble Scout project. Wanted to try the newer helicopter windshield, as the old one is no longer in production. Sadly the thrusters don't yet come in dark azure, so had to make do with these wheels. As you can see, I have five more in the works.
Currently on 1700+, next recolour revealed at 2500+! Thanks so much for all your help to get this far. Please share it with friends and family.

"The X-70B Phantom-class Prototype was a prototype starship of the reconstituted Sith Empire used by Imperial Intelligence during the Great Galactic War. It was designed with a clean sleek appearance to pass as a civilian luxury shuttle, allowing Imperial Agents to easily infiltrate Republic space without being detected." This ship first appeared in the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic as the Imperial Agent class ship.

This MOC was designed and built over the course of 8 months after getting the suggestion from someone over on Flickr. Overall it was a very challenging build because of all the different angles and curves that combine together in such a smooth and clean design. That being said it was a lot of fun and the "in-universe" ship is one of my favorite ones in Star Wars.
I hope you liked it and stay tuned for much more coming soon!
"Designed by Nadiri Dockyards during the final days of the Galactic Empire, the Starhawk-Class Battleship was mainly used by the New Republic to pursue the remnants of the Empire. With a length standing slightly over 1800 m, it was built out of decommissioned Imperial Star Destroyers, and held a tractor beam strong enough to take down an Executor-class Star Destroyer."
This LEGO model was originally designed as a SHIPtember 2019, but unfortunately it wasn't finished until 3 1/2 months after the start. It's final length is 89 cm, so roughly 111 studs.
I hope you enjoyed this MOC, it certainly a lot of fun and a very big challenge from a LEGO design point of view!

Luthen Rael's StarFighter tage " Night Shadow "
Heavily customized M Wing that was categorized as a personal transport ship with no weapons.
Before Luthen had his Fondor Haulcraft he was using a customized M Wing.
The ship was a mix of tech that was at that time in testing.
The Wings tech was later one used for the TIE Fighters and the maine propulsion tech came from a unpopular engineer that later on designed Darth Mor's StarFighter propulsion.
The ship had 6x cannons that looked at a glance like sensors and other ship systems but in truth they were shooting death, 4 on the tip of the wings and two under it's belly.
The small fighter was very fast and had great control in space and atmosphere.
It's propulsion is Hyperdrive capable.
Later on Luthen received his Haulcraft and left the StarFighter for use incase he needed it.
Soon after he found out about the Jedi Temples downfall he immediately jumped in his StarFighter and eliminated the Customs department of the M Wing plus all records and from there straight to Fondor to destroy the records of purchase for his HaulCraft.
During his role in the resistance he meets Kleya Marki and hands over to her the StarFighter and making her his personal assistant.
That is why Kleya is fling the StarFighter taged as " Night Shadow ".

Top and Bottom plan view
The LL-856 Hammerhead was used by the Federation to measure the gravitational and magnetic fields of planets, moons, and planetesimals, revealing vital information about their sub surface structures, composition, and dynamics. The wide hammerhead fins, packed with delicate, encased sensors, facilitated extremely fine spacial resolution in all directions, unimpeded by the main body of the craft.
More shots! Had great fun greebling this underside, while keeping the overall outline and structure elegant and clear. I tried to make convincing pipe work using all those classic elements. The landing gear is retracted in this shot (in contrast to the previous underside shot with the landing gear extended).
You can just about see two more crew inside on the top view. This build was obviously very influenced by several different aquatic animals, though this sort of just happened without consciously looking for actual reference materials.
Samples secured time to jet! Guns will only slow them down!! A nearby LUNAST cargo freighter responded to the sos call and just in the nick of time too.

The wide hammerhead fins, packed with delicate, encased sensors, facilitated extremely fine spacial resolution in all directions, unimpeded by the main body of the craft.
I was pleased how this underside came out - particularly the pipe work using only classic parts, and finding a use for those beautiful broken bike pieces. The landing gear is functional. Here you see it extended, and I've also uploaded a shot of it retracted.
Here's another take on the Basilisk starfighter (I may have mentioned getting hooked on building these). This one was inspired by the La Sirena from Star Trek Picard. I hadn't seen the show, but saw a pic of the ship in an email, and loved the white diagonals on red color scheme. I think this came out well, though maybe photographing it on a white background was a bad call. There's a 1x1 stud spot for greebles on the front of this, and I went through more than a dozen ideas for what to put in that little spot - sometimes, it's the little things.
The B400 MEGA HAULER navigates the lunar surface with multiple surveillance cameras on each corner for 360 coverage, as well as a mapping optic camera on the front for charting a topographic map that feeds to the windscreen of the driving cabin. There is also an anchor hook winch on the front for salvage.
The hauler only needs a minimum crew of 2 to operate and armed escort at all times to safe guard cargo from any pirates or waste-landers on the open road

* My apologies for the 3x3 round corner bricks on the GENIX canister not being rendered properly. There is a problem with the eyesight renderer not smoothening out curved bricks.
* My main inspiration and look I tried to go for was the rocket crawlers at Nasa. However, this is only the smaller hauler and I plan to go bigger but that’s gonna take some time.

Some explanations on my "UFO Green Tower" that was on the display "Space Panic" (with my friends: Sweetsha - N3rik)
Tower Height : 1,20m !
Why a green tower ?
Lego made Green Spaceman minifigs but there was no "home" for these newcomers.
The "Classic Space" defense league phoned me to ask me to build a control tower in the color of the new Spaceman.
I'm thinking of the green Spaceman ! They were very sad not to have a tower to their color. That's it now the error is repaired.
Nice Lego Technic :
To make the tower I used "Sports Field Section 8 x 16" - ref : 30489 (Old set Lego soccer) assembled to obtain a round tower.
The advantage is that you can quickly get high.
Difficulty :
There are many challenges to overcome when you want to build "big".
In this tower the main difficulty was the "gravity", keep the 2 platforms perfectly horizontal so that it is aesthetically beautiful.
I solved this problem by adding a big counterweight to the center of the tower.
100 studs/ 15 hours build multifunction
The crew of the Kampilan are a bunch of old pirates who grew up Filipino. Captain Manny is the son of the first captain, but never had any children, his mother is the cook, and the small barkada crew of his friends maintain the-what his mother calls, a space jeepney' - former pirate ship that has seen many better days. Manny constantly recalls having a run in with some hotshot bounty hunter with a red ship and a dog, narrowly avoiding escape by offering a home cooked meal from Nanay.
The old warp drive still works, but they crew just cooks on the nacelles every once in a while, it makes the ship smell like sisig. New communication antennas were added, to keep up with technology, it makes the ship looks like an old Jeepney from Baguio City, but it has charm.
What was once a proud pillager of space cargo, filled with well trained warriors and fighters, now floats around the galaxy, delivering goods here and there, escaping bounties, and leaving a trail of the best smelling crew meals in the verse. The Kampilan is ready for a new adventure.

This racer is off my usual theme but was a lot of fun to build. A couple of Rogue Brick buddies and I build a racing collar for "Steinewahn 2020" in Berlin a few weeks back.

Ever heard of them? The Intergalactic Space Marine Corp or ISMC for short, is a international army commanded by Earth’s most skilled and highly trained strategists. These men and women act on behalf of Earth and her interests to keep balance and peace, protecting Earth from any threats across the stars.
These are a group of minifigures I made recently incorporating the dual-molded legs that LEGO has been putting into the Minifigure-Build-Stations at LEGO stores. Including those pieces were also some Space Marine CMFs that I got which I slightly modified to fit the vibe I have going here. Some of my favorite parts are the radio the second in command officer is holding that uses a printed time and minifig hand, the weapons I custom built for the marines and smaller stuff like the Harry Potter wand used as a cane. If you enjoyed, I’d appreciate a comment and your thoughts. ~Noah
Trailing the smaller turtle craft, larger vessels can often be seen, with many more robot crew onboard. What these serene droid ships portend is still opaque, but gliding impassively through the heavens, their tranquil, steadfast passage has a spellbinding effect on people lucky enough to observe them.
Another space turtle I built around the same time as my previously posted ones. I remember taking hours perfecting the octagonal geometry and the head too, things which seem rather easier to contemplate now, having built far more complex designs. Again, I'm still quite attached to this one, though think it might be time to free up some shelf space.
A fanciful space scene for a Tuesday evening!

The B400 MEGA HAULER has second major feature on the back which is a ramp hidden in the cargo platform which can be extended as the platform tips at an angle. The haulers maximum load capacity is 300 tons as labelled. The secondary controls are at the right side with a lever. The left is a charging port for the hauler’s engine battery. Large tail lights are also needed especially in a foggy environment where visibility is obscure.

Nova Team is a specialized group of Federation officers fulfilling the role of both explorers and defenders. Working out of Deep Space Outpost Arcturus, the team travels the galaxy in search of strange new worlds and civilizations and are ready to help and protect anyone who needs it.
Over the last couple of days I’ve been posting photos with stories ;-) of my custom LEGO Neo-Classic Space minifigure waterslide decals. Thank you all for the interest, favs and kind words. I really appreciate it! For those who don’t know, my idea was to come up with an updated take on the original Classic Space minifigure and of course making sure that wonderful logo was centerstage in the design. I took inspiration from Galaxy Squad, Batman's spacesuit and the Series 1 Spaceman Collectible Minifigure. To learn more about the in-universe story behind the new space suit, take a look at my description here: flic.kr/p/tN5MpG

The boys (and girls) are back in town! The long awaited return of Nova Team is finally at hand! Here’s the crew, standing proud - and sporting a new look - ready to face whatever challenges the galaxy has in store for them.
As I mentioned before, I’ve retired the custom prints, having decided to go back to official prints. I feel the silver torso from 2020 works well for them. I also kept the Classic Space colors denoting department, but used as accents this time. Not entirely different than the newly released (at the time of this post) 2024 City Space figures.
I’ll keep posting this week to give each crew member a chance to shine, so keep your scanners peeled!

Eye of Chaos WiP - For literally YEARS now, work has taken my Lego time down to practically nothing. But, little by little, I've still managed to make some progress on this SHIP.
Just the aft section to go now, and she's finally done. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...now if I can just keep from dropping the stupid thing!
A new attempt to built this most lgendary ship in this most legendary color scheme. Thrusters and Cockpit move instantly with turning the model.
Built because of love but also for Roguebricks Annual Challenge!
The LL-962 Aegis is cruising within planet Oasis’s thermosphere on a routine scouting mission in Nova Team’s continuing mission to explore and protect this planet.
Routine or not, up here the view is spectacular. With magenta and blue hues surrounding them, the planet’s star slowly dips below the atmosphere as the neighboring ringed gas giant hangs in space watching over its smaller counterpart.
It is a sight to behold and Captain Knight and Commander Stargazer are grateful to have the opportunity to experience it.
I made another thing for my RLUG's (Sacramento Brick Builders) monthly build challenge and am posting early. The challenge was either water adventure or tie-fighter. I combined the 2 with my creation of the Tiekranoplan Heavy Assualt. Although digital, this can be completely made in real life with existing elements. Here is my head cannon for the Star Wars spacecraft: The Tiekranoplan Heavy Assault (TK-HA) was designed by the Empire for under-radar/stealth attack runs on well fortified cities specifically located on water worlds. The TK-HA was designed to fly just a few meters above the water with fierce speed powered by 8 forward heavy ion thrusters creating a sudo-ground effect and 8 rear ion engines with relative stealth and the element of surprise against the adversaries of the Empire.
The TK-HA carries 6 long range neutron missiles, 12 proton depth charges, 2 forward facing laser cannons, 2 wing mounted turbo lasers, a rear gunner with actuated quad laser cannons, and a pilot.
Very few have ever discovered this secretive class of Tie-fighters and the few that have, have often referred to them as the "Emperor's Sea Monsters."
