i finally after forever picked up 3 of these super duperly awesome 1940/50 space helmets. man there groovy

This one was inspired by the current Lego City Space Theme. I wanted to use the things like the Space Helmets and those cool Lab Guys in a MOC. So I came up with the idea of a Lab, where they develop those suits.

This will be part of a new collab with Boba-1980, so watch out, there is more Space Stuff coming.

Closeup of the little guy. The proportions of baby turtles give them a cute/goofy quality quite different from the elegance of the adults they become. It was a happy accident that this was reproduced here.

Built for the #rogueBricks contest 'Space Police Tag-Team' which required people to pair up in teams of two, one building for the good guys, and one for the bad ones.

@ygreklego went with Space Police and I decided to take a look into Blacktron again!

The Blacktron Shapeshifter is a harmless, civil and rusty looking light spaceship. But wait until its firepower is revealed. If you don't look fast enough you won't know what hit you!

A small interceptor best suited to hit and run attacks.

I've always had a soft spot for these old-style 1999 Astronauts. For me, nothing quite compares to the helmet mold and chrome gold visor combo, alongside the nostalgia of the old minifig prints.

Aboard Deep Space Outpost Arcturus, the operations center is abuzz with activity as the new Subspace Array comes online and new signals are flooding the comm systems. However, one specific signal has caught the attention of Dr. Mark Markus. It's an older code, but it checks out. Markus calls over to Admiral Aydan Arrius to have him take a look. Seems like the single is originating from an old deep space probe out in the J-23k system, and it looks like it's made discovery…

For those who are interested, unfortunately I am unable to sell the Nova Team minifigures or designs due to the use of the "Classic Space" logo which is owned and trademarked by The LEGO Group. My custom designed figures and use of the official "Classic Space" logo is for personal use only in my MOCs and photography. By the same token, I will not give away the design files and source material either. Thank you for understanding! Trust me, if I could legally sell these, I would.

The R397 Firebird is a highly maneuverable space superiority fighter, originally designed to supplement the aging Mk. III Crusader fighters. However, it wasn't completed before the end of the Federation War, and as such only a handful of prototypes were built. Of these, only one was ever completed fully, and was eventually sold to one of its designers for a fraction of the manufacturing costs

A sub-atmospheric speeder with some thicc engines. Great for aerial stunts and high-speed racing, but the insurance rates kinda suck.

I made the stickers with office labels and highlighters. Only the best materials.

Been a big fan of the Prime Empire aesthetic since I first saw the sets and wanted to do something in these guys' livery. I need to grab more of them before they're off shelves but there's a lot of good stuff competing for the personal Lego budget this year.

Oh no!! Blacktron’s blast was aimed right at Nova Team and now they’re hitting the deck trying to avoid the ensuing explosion as Blacktron makes their escape out the airlock!

Based on the Russian concept of launching a miniature shuttle from the back of the Antonov. This was eventually built in real-life but unfortunately the external tank was damaged in a move and beyond repair or rebuild.

Continuing with the presentation of my custom LEGO Neo-Classic Space minifigure decals, here we have Admiral Aydan Arrius sporting the new officer service uniform while he walks through the corridors of Deep Space Outpost Arcturus with Captain Robert Knight and in tow the Admiral's assistant (who currently doesn’t have a name).

:::I’ve gone into quite a bit of detail into what I’ve been up to with these decals and my in-universe story that goes along with them at these links: flic.kr/p/uGsj68 - flic.kr/p/tN5MpG - flic.kr/p/tQUCKj

For this one, I wanted to make a full uniform for my LEGO Neo-Classic Space universe that officers could wear when they were on duty inside a ship or station and not requiring a full IEVA suit. This design was heavily inspired by the Star Trek TOS movie uniforms, made popular in “The Wrath of Kahn”. My intention though is to make the uniform colors match the department colors I’ve selected (like Star Trek TOS, TNG etc) i.e. A science officer would wear a blue uniform. The epaulettes the Captain and Admiral wear are for “command” officers and the colors change depending on department as well.

As usual, comments always welcomed! Thanks!

Saw some potential to use up some more of my big pieces and polish up a build I wasnt too happy with. Think this version strikes closer to what I had originally envisioned when I first built this spaceship.

Deep Space Outpost Arcturus has suffered a crippling blow. The station has been attacked and invaded by Blacktron forces who have siphoned the energy from the ancient alien artifact Nova Team had discovered earlier in the year, draining it completely. Making their escape, Blacktron has managed to fend off the station's security, Nova Team and the combat patrols while making their jump away. Untraceable by the station’s various sensor arrays.

Here we have an injured Captain Knight giving his after-action report to Admiral Arrius in Arcturus’s main operations center. Neither of them happy with what transpired, but both vowing to do anything they can to stop Blacktron.

::: So this is it! The end of my "Intruder Alert” photo series! It lasted a little longer than I originally planned, but overall I’m pretty happy how the series turned out. I hope all of you enjoyed it! Your continued support has always been very much appreciated. I’m going to take a quick break here while I regroup and figure out what my next project is. I'm thinking it’ll be a little different, just for a little bit. But have heart Nova Team fans. The team will be back soon. I sort of see this image as a "season finale" of sorts. There are some changes coming to the team with some slight re-freshes as well with the start of the "new season". Keep an eye out on my stream as always for the main event and for sneak-peeks and updates I’ll be using my Twitter account (twitter.com/Agaethon) a bit more for that sort of stuff moving forward. Again, thank you all!

5th build in my Iron Builder round against Ivan, using the Spike Prime color sensor

It was the year 1979 when LEGO launched one of the sets that became among the most iconic in the AFOL world: the 928 set.

The Classic Space theme was launched just a year earlier in 1978 and this set became a legend because it represented the most beautiful and largest spaceship in the entire fleet. It is incredible to think of the success that this set of only 338 pieces has had if we compare it to those on sale today, but in those days we were children who dreamed of having this box and our best memories are linked to it.

In '79 I was just 5 years old and I have never been able to have this box, too expensive for my parents, but I have always dreamed of it looking at it in the catalogs. Finally as an adult I looked for it and managed to buy it!

All this premise was used to introduce my new work: the Galaxy Explorer SDR-926! This year I am 10 years old as AFOL and I thought about making mocs that have a special meaning for me. The first of these was the desire to make a spaceship of some importance! SDR-926 wants to be a tribute to the 928 but with very different characteristics and numbers. Number 926 represents the birth of my daughter. The spaceship measures 85 x 75 x 21 cm and is made up of almost 4600 pieces! It took me 5 intense months to make it because it contains several features and functionalities in a single work.

Thank you for watching!

When designing them, one of the iterative directives we designated was to learn and improve rapid deployment. It wasn't long until we experienced first hand just how rapid they became.

It's a new racing speeder from Maranello! Ferrari prepared it for the debut in the 9th season if the Galactic Speeder League in cooperation with the famous Stark Industries company. I like the way new Lego City suspension parts can be used to place engines at an angle.

Ok, so here it is, after a week of showing photos of engineers working hard we have the LL-962 Arrow Mark II Multi-Mission Starfighter, fully upgraded and ready to explore! So I really don’t like going back and rehashing old builds and photos but the Arrow is an exception. As some of you know I don’t get to build my own MOC’s often but when I completed the Arrow, it was my first Neo Classic Space build and the first serious thing I built for Nova Team. Everyone seemed to like it and much to my surprise it was featured on a few blogs which I am very grateful for.

Well a few months went by and I wanted to work on designing a new smaller starfighter and start to have a nice line-up of NCS-inspired crafts. I quickly realized that originally making the Arrow a single occupant craft made the small one I was working on sort of moot. Why would I have two crafts with only one pilot each drastically different in size? What would be their roles? Also, if I kept the Arrow as the smallest one in the lineup I was concerned it would establish a model scale that I feared I would have trouble keeping up with in the future. I want all my NCS builds to go together and the Arrow sort of messed that up. So I went back to the Arrow and changed it's role in my NCS fleet to a multi-mission craft by redesigning the cockpit to accommodate a copilot and raised the roof on the aft compartment allowing another crew member to ride back there with a sensor control station. This way Nova Team could explore the galaxy in 3 of these vessels, each with 3 crew members. And like any good artist, I’m never full happy with my work so I went back and changed a few details about the Arrow here and there and added a few more greebly components, because… why not? ;-)

And now that leaves room for a smaller single occupant starfighter in my line-up. I’m super excited to share that all with you and that’ll be posted in the next day or so. Thanks for your continued support and feedback!

Delivering death from above, one rod at a time.

This again took me way longer than anticipated, but at least it somewhat fits into the common theme of this month, at least remotely. The 120° segments on the front and functionality aspects made this interesting to build and something completely different and new for me, too.

Inspired by the real space stations, this imaginary minifig-scale space outpost is the place for all variety of crew members working together and expanding the human frontier- the moon, Mars, and beyond!

Service, maintenance, space side assistance vehicle. Reverses up to the ship in need and access via the service deck at the rear. Equipped with Multi directional thrusters for precision driving and bash bars for durability and those tough spots in asteroid fields.

The ideal ship for mobile mechanics.

I built this for Jeff Cross in a moc exchange event I participated in end of last year/start of this year. I Forgot to share it here

A mix of shock and rage wash over Nova Team since discovering Blacktron's sabotage of the Horus Array and subsequent spying. Captain Knight orders an updated distress call be sent out to Arcturus Outpost, they're going to need backup.

Suddenly, the newly rescued survivor Petty Officer Chester hears something in an adjacent corridor. He's struck with instant panic as he tries to warn the others. He knows what's coming and if they don't get out of here immediately, they will all be killed!

DBC 6X6 MoonExplorer

My very first FebRovery build. The model features front and rear suspension and steering as well. My main goal was to build a 6 wheeled vechicle, with the most accurate working steering, and I managed to have steering with a trapezoidal mechanism on both ends. The steering can be operated by turning the cylinder detail at the back of the vehicle.

My other favourite details are the solar panels, that can be tilt in any directions for the most efficient use of sunlight.

I tried to make this vehicle realistic in terms of design ad technologies, so I also included several sensors, such as LIDAR sensors on the top and a complex sensor pack under the cockpit.

The other main features are the big, foldable crane arm on the top and doors on both sides.

A spaceship spacEsHiP SPACESHIP! built as a companion to the Horizon Chariot Febrovery build.

Built around a NinjaGo arcade pod, it features folding wings and seats two minifigures.

Some tragic accidents were reported with this model.

In presence of some type of radiations, the robotic arm went mad, forgot the Asimov's laws, and beheaded the poor driver.

leaving a dust trail, or more likely three of them

I updated the flooring and bar itself-- ran LED lights under the floor to make the bar glow, added some metal tubing for style.

CPLJ 14 - Cybernetic Polar Light Jammer 14th ed.

This is an advanced anti-infantry war machine. The pilot's brain is connected to the machine, enhancing man-machine interaction to a superb level of control. Strong magnetic fields disrupt incoming laser shots, giving a sort of shield. This "laser jammer" makes this mecha perfect for fast-paced ground warfare.

In the vastness of space, very few planets can support human life. Most are downright hazardous and inhospitable, but no less worthy of scientific discovery and exploration. Enter the Hazardous Environment A.R.C. Bots. HZ for short. These HZ bots are the latest in robotic exploration operations. Using the vast data collected by past expeditions from Federation groups like I.C.E. Team and Nova Team these bots where designed and built to endure the worst possible conditions. With their protective armor, extra shielding for their electronic systems and an entire suite of sensor probes and equipment, these bots operate where their human counterparts cannot. And with their adaptive AI - unique to A.R.C. Bots - they can cope with a multitude of variables when exploring these unknown worlds.

Here A.R.C. Bot HZ-D4K is on a newly discovered hazardous planet in the Merga System. Currently the bot is surveying the surface and collecting soil samples, unhindered by the toxic atmosphere and thermionic radiation of this alien world.

Just a quick update on the goings on at Nova Team! Now that Daystrom and Steele have adapted the lost A.I. algorithms to the proper firmware, it’s time to start building a vessel to carry it! Here we have Ensign Benjamin Brenner, Nova Team’s mechanical specialist inspecting his lasted work on the project. He seems very pleased with the progress!
