"When the New Republic under Mon Mothma approved the construction of a defensive fleet after the Battle of Endor, the technicians of the Nadiri Dockyards were asked to build a new class of battleships from captured Imperial ships. The Starhawk-class, that was intended to help with the destruction of the imperial fleet’s scattered remnants. resulted from this recycling process. Those heavy battleships could definitely take on an imperial star destroyer, although they were registered as “defensive fleet”. This became possible through unusually strong tractor beam emitter, which were able to captivate the star destroyers. They were furthermore equipped with a very powerful armament consisting of laser canons, ion torpedoes and turbolaser phalanxes.

A total of probably three of these large ships were produced and all three were involved in the battle over Jakku, during which, however, two of the three Starhawks were destroyed."

After many months of hard work I'm proud to present this new version of the Starhawk which has greatly improved from the previous 2019 version. It contains a total of 9670 parts, weights approximately 7.1 kg and measures 95 x 48 x 39 cm. Overall, it was a lot of fun to revisit this build and improve it.

Shoutout to Sebastian Neuß from Brickmoon and Tobias Nieder from The-Brick-Collective for helping me out in the development of building instructions and full building kits!

While at Brickfair VA this year I was able to put in some time on this design and am thinking this has come out pretty well.

I'm a big fan of vertically-oriented ships, and this one I'm particularly pleased with how it turned out, especially with the semi-retractable landing gear.

Somehow the shape puts me in mind of a fish of some kind, and being a fan also of prehistoric life (even if I don't build it all that much) I'm calling this the LL313 Coelacanth

I decided my NCS spider tank would look much better with some kind od scenery, so I built some. This elevated platform is some sort of repair/servicing station I think.

Since it's a legged vehicle it shouldn't have any trouble traversing the edge protection, so we can be both OSHA-compliant and practical.

pneumatic system for cockpit's access

With the Basilisk starfighter, I wanted to try some weapons/loadout variants, like in a SHMUP. This is the level 2, an upgraded minigun. The one in the original photos looks like it will be level 5. More upgrades to come!

A custom blacktron build which I worked a lot on, and one of my most complex spaceship designs

It features a modern cockpit, a cargo bay which can be opened and contains 2 small containers. It’s got a bomb bay too and you can reload the bombs and even release them with a push of a button. Also there is a secret compartment in the ship with a data recorder, and for landings there are landing legs too!😎

Neo Tunnel transport 4980 Rock Raiders

Based on the Russian concept of launching a miniature shuttle from the back of the Antonov. This was eventually built in real-life but unfortunately the external tank was damaged in a move and beyond repair or rebuild.

A transporter for the BRS 01 racing speeder. It is my first and hopefully not last build for #febrovery2021. The compartment behind the back of the driver is used to store the detachable headlights.

In an approach to combine the advantages of sleigh skids and caterpillar tracks, the tracked sleigh was created. The design proved utterly unsuccessful, being unable to move by its own power.

LL924. The Space Transporter, or Space Cruiser in the US. The set I had asked for when my Dad got me the bigger Space Cruiser and Moonbase (Galaxy Explorer) set for Christmas. Which was the set I really wanted but thought my parents would balk at paying for.

Alas, I got rid of all my childhood LEGO as a teenager. But though I got a number of those first-generation Space sets, I never did get the LL924.

Anyway, here's my take on an update. In retrospect I think the wings should start out a little wider, but it was going to be way too complicated to tear it all down and rebuild it from the nose back. It is what it is.

An alternate build for the Galaxy Explorer 10497 model. I wanted it to meld with the aesthetic of the newer models, and put together this box art mock up.

I made instructions which are available here:

I haven't had any real emotional attachment to the other SHIPs I've disassembled (8 of 14 if you're counting) but this one's different. She's an original work 100% my own, not based on anyone else's design. She's also won a bunch of awards and I'm breaking one of my rules that SHIPs that win awards get to live. Honestly, that wasn't realistic long term and I suspect this won't be the last time I'm sad about it.

Utterly ridiculous...

also: SLUG represent.

Made for strategic bombardment missions, this unit's chemically incendiary bombs proved to be specifically effective against Terran units.

This is just a quick post today of the Data Sheet for UT-N8T as promised. To recap what I mentioned previously about this particular class of ARC Bot, these Utility Bots are specifically designed for various utility and maintenance work around the station and with their heavy-load manipulators they are perfect for any job that requires a lot of extra “muscle”. You can find them doing simple things like cargo duty, or more complicated jobs like assisting engineers in repairing equipment both in and outside of the station, as well as working in places that are just too dangerous for humans.

Vic Viper for NoVVember 2025

Here's my entry for the first day of VignWeek 2022. The prompt is Classic Set Revamp and I chose set 6949 Robo-Guardian from 1994.

www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=6949-1#T=...{%22iconly%22:0}

I owned the set as a kid, so I still has some parts and I managed to keep some of the key feature of the set.

Service, maintenance, space side assistance vehicle. It reverses up to the ship in need and access via the service deck at the rear. Equipped with Multi directional thrusters for precision driving and bash bars for durability and those tough spots in asteroid fields.

The ideal ship for mobile mechanics.

I built this for Jeff Cross in a moc exchange event I participated in end of last year. Forgot to post it here.

Bit late to the party, but here's everything I built in 2022 (including one I forgot to post to Flickr). As I'm sure everyone is well aware, the Armored Titan is my favourite thing I have ever made, and it will not be disassembled any time soon (just need to get the parts to finish it). Apart from that, the Reaper and most of the helicopter, everything here has been re-absorbed into the collection, for what will hopefully be an eventful year of building!

He watches the remote feed from the Raptor Sentry Drone's optical systems as it closes in for the kill. The frightened Federation officers known as Nova Team don't know what to make of it, excellent.

Originally, he had his doubts about this latest construct, however it's proven itself to be an effective tool. Perhaps the Supreme Commander was right to commission more of these…

Space Police Planetary Hammerhead Incident Support Harrier

aka- The Big P.H.I.S.H.

Made for #febrovery this is an ode to my childhood in two ways: One of my favorite sets growing up was the Solar Snooper from the "green" era of Space Police. The other influence was my brother and my favorite non-LEGO toys- the Cobra Hammerhead from G.I.Joe.

This rover reuses the wheels I made for my MTron Gigaton Flux Inductor moc. The P.H.I.S.H. operates on planets with water and is amphibious by nature. When the Aquanauts call for help to deal with pesky Aquasharks the Space Police are there to help with this enforcement vehicle. The vehicle carries two Poseidon Darts, each equipped with 4 torpedoes and a harpoon cannon plus a holding compartment for criminals behind the pilot. There are also two T.U.N.A subs (Tactical Underwater Nautical Attack sub) each carrying two torpedoes.

On the harrier itself are two torpedoes, a rotating dual harpoon cannon, and two dual barrel forward-facing cannons. The vehicle is operated by two drivers, two Poseidon Dart pilots, two T.U.N.A. sub pilots, and an additional enforcement officer.

Hope you like this nostalgic build. It was created using the Greyscalegorilla Plus Plugins, Bricklink Studio, Cinema4D, and Photoshop on a Puget Systems machine. I started this build two days ago and took roughly 8 hrs to make.

Nova Team continues to chase Blacktron through the corridors of the station . But just as Blacktron gets to the airlock, one of their sentry robots turns it's sights on the Nova Team and fires a powerful energy blast at them!

RogueOlympics at roguebricks.de: Every week we gotta build something with a new theme but with no more then 101 bricks. I thought, whatever the theme, I'll only do spaceships so here is my microscale hangar. Oh yes, this weeks theme was "big and small"

This was the first pass of this design before recoloring.

First of all, this isnt 100% done yet, only like 60 or 70 but as far as it will get within september...it will be finished until november tho and that will also be, when I release the belonging Story n all that.

It measures 111 Studs in lenght and will be even longer when completely done;)

Hope y'all like it, critism, suggestions, comments and favs highly appreciated:)

btw, all those weird angles are there on purpose!

I was looking in the LEGO archives and I found an unreleased set from 1991 :) :)

Pretty sure I built this guy for an earlier collab but I don't think he got to show until BricksCascade last month.

The MOLE DRILLER can tip the drill 20° to reach higher crystals using a hydraulic piston. The drill uses a secondary V8 engine give power to the 4 ton drill spiked drill bit.

On the open roads of Mare Serenitatis, a heavily travelled route sits the Serenitatis Quarry in the centre of the Mare which has concentrated veins of crimson Zircon crystal deposits. Zircon crystals are highly sought after and heavily used in manufacturing equipment ranging from lasers to optics. Its large formations are hard to mine and require specialized machinery.

* The deeper down the quarry, the crystal formations are bigger and there is greater danger of cave-ins.

Build made with Bricklink Studio 2.0 with existing/custom parts and image enhanced and edited in Photoshop.

Nova Team is almost to the lift! Captain Knight and Lieutenant Erandis stand guard as Stargazer and Korren are just ahead attempting to get the lift to hanger bay opened. Unfortunately the team's Blacktron alien stalker is not far behind…

About time I build a classic ship from Star Wars. But I had two goals in mind:

1. Make it perfectly minifig scale, no matter how big or how small.

2. Use the most unconventional LEGO pieces and techniques to get the shapes and proportions without delving into “illegal” territory.

Needless to say, I think I nailed it. Measuring just under 22 studs long, this matches up with the canonical length of 6.9 metres or 21 feet.

As for the parts usage... I think you can see for yourself. There are also some old rare bits that cost me more than I anticipated.
