Film d'essai (test film) of my Rollei 35 LED (assembled in Singapore likely 1977-1978). The small camera is equipped with the budget lens Triotar 40 mm f/3.5.
Dubble films USA, 27 frames, "Daily Colors" 400 ISO. Exposure following incident light measuring with an Autometer III Minolta. The integrated photometer of the Rollei35 LED has to be compensated by at least 3 EV.
First pictures at home to test the film advancement. Lyon, France, Jan. 21, 2022.
The film was developed using the C-41 process then digitalized using a Sony A7 body and a Minolta Slide Duplicator with a Minolta Auto Bellows III with a lens Minolta Bellow Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5. During the transfer a daylight produce by a LED lamp was supplemented by a Wratten 80A filter to render the processing more easy in the color temperature correction.

I got these for 50% off at the hardware store after the season last year-- $7.50 a string of 70 lights. How come an LED lightbulb with fewer LEDs, less wiring and less packaging costs ~$40? (both made in China)
Some pictures of the cool new Think Geek Temperature Changing LED Facuet Extensions we just got in the mail. Kelsey was so excited to brush her teeth, she yelled out "Mommy, it's chanigng color!" Besides being really really cool, they are pracitcal too. Now the girls know when the water is too hot to touch, since hot water makes the LEDs go from blue to red.

Je passe de la théorie à la pratique avec ce petit montage, ces deux LEDs sont alimentées par un port USB de mon ordi.
Le but est de me bricoler un petit éclairage à placer derrière mon écran.
Le port USB débite du 5 VDC, les LEDs sont prévues pour un maximum de 3.5 VDC à 20 mA.
Les résistances sont donc de R = U / I : (5 - 3.5) / 0.02 = 75 Ω.
Le montage final comportera 5 LEDs, soit un courant de 100 mA, ce qui est raisonnable pour un ordinateur de bureau.
