vy Benson (11 November 1913 – 6 May 1993) was an English musician and bandleader, who led an all-female swing band. Benson and her band rose to fame in the 1940s, headlining variety theatres and topping the bill at the London Palladium, and became the BBC's resident house band.

LED ( Light emitting diode ) lights pulse on and off at a rate of 60 pulses per second. Too fast for the human eye to catch. Fiber optic light is constant.
Using a 1 second panning exposure,
the pulsations of the LEDs can be seen.

Just playing with lights a bit. I'm experimenting with different things to see the results and what I like, then I plan on getting more deliberate with what I do. Some of these were intentional, others just random movement.

Sunday morning was seriously dark and gloomy so I tucked some of my ever-growing collection of led flashlights in my jacket pocket and headed for the UT gardens. All have focusable heads and Cree Q5 emitters. The middle one is about three and a half inches long and runs on one AA battery (soon to be upgraded to a 14500 lithium). The other two run on single 18650 lithiums.
