I've never eaten freeze-dried food except when backpacking. I'm sure it tastes like shit unless you're really hungry and haven't take a shower for four days. At which point it tastes pretty awesome.

Day 2 of the kitchen -- we demolished the existing cabinets but will drywall over the existing pine rather than restud out the walls...much less work and the cabinets willbe easier to install.
The kitchen is where I spend the most time because it is the highest point in the house with views, a lofty feel and of course...food.

The kitchen in my doll house. i have to go somewhere to find free samples of wallpaper like I did with the lino flooring. Look at that floor! Free it was!
Can you spot the refrigerator, freezer, dual dishwasher, or washer/dryer in this photograph? Owners are not big "kitchen people," so the design directive was to integrate the kitchen into the space without making a big point of it. Millwork on the rear wall matches the millwork in the living room and master suite.
