Two and a half years later, and this cupboard actually still looks this organized. What a concept.

a few years later our main floor looks like this.

March 2004 - Not much has changed. We just added an island. We'll redo the entire kitchen at some point. Note the 1970's globe lighting fixture.

Maria and her friend--I forgot her name?

Passenger seat tour of Kitchener, Ontario. This took place while Bunt and I were running errands for his Christmas Party.

First off, I have to say that I don't love the napkin straw storage here because it looks messy and is not organized perfectly, but I did want to write about what works with this cupboard.

Originally the pitchers were on the bottom and the napkins were on the top. I have such trouble reaching the top shelf that almost every time I wanted to use a napkin, I had to deal with a small napkin avalanche. By adjusting the shelves and moving the pitchers to the top I can now access the napkins better and since the pitchers are so tall and have handles, I can still access them easily.

With thanks to Crantock for the idea - I was bored today and she suggested taking photos of kitchen utensils.
