The galley kitchen was dark, undersized and outdated. The home's new owner, being an accomplished cook and baker, needed something that suited the house and suited her family.
I wanted to show off all the nice cabinetry in this kitchen, and a big wide shot seemed like a good way to do it.
2 flashes, both blasted about half power off wall behind me CR. The rest had to be ambient with nowhere to hide lights.
A little bit of desaturation in yellow and red, a little bit of dodge in far left corner. Original shot was a little bit wider, showing desk area at right of frame, I decided that was too wide and cropped it.

Kitchen with room to park my bike. Studio has some closet space. I don't have a lot of possessions so I try to keep it from looking cluttered. Most of my things are in the fairly spacious closets. Kitchen nook. Stove on left side, refrigerator on right.
I have my microwave oven and a blender on other side of apartment. This saves counter space. Also my neighbor on that side is an elevator shaft so running my blender late at night isn't likely to disturb someone in an adjacent apartment.

Room through the kitchen on the right is ambient, otherwise 4 lights here...
* on the kitchen floor, low power. Slight spill which was worse until I goboed it with a board game box found on the shelf.
* CR up on the fridge bounced off a white cushion
* far CL high on a stand bounced off white fabric draped over a book case.
* CL through a brolly held high and angled down toward backs of bar stools.
That kitchen ceiling light is a fluoro. Anyone see green?
