March 2004 - Not much has changed. We just added an island. We'll redo the entire kitchen at some point. Note the 1970's globe lighting fixture.
There are a good amount of cabinets, especially for the size! The appliances are all in good condition, too.

Walking through Dengfeng at night, I saw this kitchen. Hardly anyone else was on the street, and it was oddly creepy. Ran back to the hotel shortly after this was taken.

Pictures of the painting I'm doing in the kitchen. The old colors were there when I moved in (especially the hideous green cabinets) and the room always looked grungy, even when it was spic and span. So I chose some bright and cheery colors for the room. It's not the remodeling that I'd really like to do, but it will make the room more fun to hang out and cook in.
