Key West, Florida; the light tower was built in 1847, the keepers house in 1887. The keepers house has been restored and is furnished with period pieces. It operates as a museum.
I found these keys left in a door at an abandoned building complex. I tried several of them on a few doors, but they didn't seem to work. Now these are just a souvenir.
I recently noticed this picture had been used in an advert ;-)

Quintessentially Cedar Key
To me, this old dock is so Cedar Key... Old Florida and, it's what attracts us the town. With a great sense of community, good restaurants, fun and interesting people, bands like The James Gang, it's a great place to visit. We just completed our annual road trip to Florida and it included 17 nights in Cedar Key. Next year we will be staying a month. While in town I just had to get the right light to take a photograph of this old dock. I went out several times and it just wasn't what I wanted. Then it happened on February 11th at 6:33 am. Not only was the light right, I also had the quarter moon. Sometimes you get lucky. You can see more of my work at RandyRobertsPhotography.com
Poker Run Bikers in Key West over 3 years. The bikers raise lots of money for children. Some fantastic bikes and bikers are always welcomed in Key West by the bars and bar staff.
All the keys, stripped off the keyboard and ready for paint.

This looks more gross than it is. Excess silicone is poured into this paint mixing try to make silicone keys for the mold. Ice cube trays would also work well
Once again.. I have a couple of weeks to catch up on.. but decided to try and post this weeks shot on time!
We're on holidays at the moment and were lucky enough to visit Hogsmeade, of Harry Potter fame, in universal studios. It was absolutely incredible. . The girls were in awe the hole way around Hogwarts and I was right behind them!
I snapped some photos on the way around and liked how this shot of a windowsill turned out. . What's in the jars I can't say.. but I do know it was in the defences against the dark arts classroom.. so reckon it may once have been alive!
For this weeks "low key" theme.
