The last stop before going home on the cruise was Disney's Castaway Key. This is a private island in the Bahamas owned and run entirely by Disney. This day was probably the most enjoyable for our family. The island is setup to accommodate all different age levels and activities.

As for beaches, there are several - including one that is adults only. That's where Marna and I went last time, but this time we stayed at the main kids beach. The island is such that the waters are always very calm which allowed Paige to play at length without getting too tired.

There's also a climbing rig in the ocean at the kids beach. Paige didn't feel ready for that however. They are also putting in a water slide that looks to be a lot of fun.

A section of the cove is only for snorkeling, which is where I spent a good deal of time. The water doesn't get particularly deep, and has reefs created by Disney. You'll find buried treasure, as well as statues of Mickey and Minnie under the water, along with much more. It was fun just to try and find them all, and the wildlife that used them as homes just put it over the top.

For older kids, there's bike riding, jet skis, parasailing, and much more. I think we've tentatively settled on a 2014 date to sail again, though maybe another route. Paige will be ten by then, and we think the experience would be completely different. We have friends at church that have taken their son at both five years of age and ten years, and they said it was really fun.

When we asked other kids about their experience, we never heard anything less than glowing reviews regardless of the age (all the way to 15). In fact, on the bus ride back from the port to Orlando Airport, Marna sat next to such a kid that went on the entire hour about how great his trip was. If you think you'd like to come with us 2014, I can promise a trip you'll never forget, so let us know and we'll see you there!

Key Theatre, Peterborough. Originally designed by Joe Rowbotham and opened in 1973, the Key seats just under 400 on a single raked tier with a semi-thrust stage. It has been extended twice, vastly increasing the f-o-h space and adding a studio theatre. It is equipped as a cinema for occasional screenings.

I have had a long dry spell in my photographic efforts. I was in Miami on a business trip last week and I managed to get out to Key Biscayne Lighthouse right before sunset. It isn't underwater, but is ocean themed!

One of those late evening brain waves for a shoot I get every once in a while.

Shot at midnight just outside of Guildford. The rim light on our subject came from the obvious headlights at the rear, whilst a shone torch acted as the key.

Scene was split in two using the tree trunk just off centre, with a hidden guest amongst the trees...

A somewhat literal take on the idea of low key, as this is the 'lowest' key on the electronic keyboard...

Life is like a piano. White keys are happy moments and black keys are sad moments. But remember, both keys are played together to create music..

My so-called jailor keys that i carry around with me. The 3 black keys are for our 2 cars and a bicycle lock. The other keys are less bulk except for the house key with the light on it ... very useful when coming home at night ... as well as a handy mini torch. Everything is hung on a carabiniere so that I can hook the keys on my jacket or handbag ... I love hands-free!
