I made a last minute decision to paddle this evening after work. Fed the animals, strapped the kayak to the car, and headed to Old Reaves Ferry landing. There was a brisk wind against me as I paddled upstream, but it quit as the sun went down, and I had a serene float downstream. The woodpecker drumming and the constant birdsong gave it a tropical atmosphere...and in the next video, I get to see the woodpecker!

We were returning to the shore, as the sun peeked through the lower clouds. It created soft purple and yellow glow. I let the others to pass our kayak, while enjoying the view. It was a last shot I made that night.
