Sarens combo consisting of Dirk Klijn's Lieberr crane and Nanko Klein Paste's Scheuerle modular trailer pulled and pushed by a DAF and Scania prime mover. The KraZ 6x6 truck is built by Ingmar Spijkhoven. Combo shoot taken at LEGO World 2015.
Staff car - DDR Kubelwagens were the coolest light military vehicles ever. Don't argue that. And especially early Wartburg-Kubel with its WW2 aesthetics on 50s era car. But 2 stroke engines weren't. And for tall elven boys I wanted some larger car so Horch with its V6 was perfect.
MLRS - when I was thinking what to build as local heavy vehicle, the first idea was tracked vehicle. The second one - soviet tracked logging tractor! After some inflating, it become really close to tge KrAZ truck in dimensions and even appearence. However that chassis was used only to place some lame Smerch-alike tubes. Shame on me.
Airborne tank - Object 685, that bad boy had a LOT of space inside with its compact and low-profile engine, externally being really close to MBT in terms of size. Probably, that is the most comfy light tank in DC, featuring water boiler (fuck that summer and all plumbering I had to do during it), hightest tier air conditioning and WC! There was a lot of space I had to fill. Oh, and 100mm was just laughable so i put 125mm instead, so it became sort of better Sprut. Why not?
The mighty КрАЗ, one of my favourite trucks. I hadn't seen one for many years and was pleasantly surprised to find one in Cambodia of all places, early one morning.
I don't know which model this is. A КрАЗ-219 perhaps? It looked much smaller than all the other KrAZ trucks I have ever seen. It is clearly much lower than this one. Did this glorious Ukrainian company ever produce small things? Hard to imagine.
This one was used by road construction workers. Their sanitary facilities are visible in the background.
LEGO MOC of PTH130-K255B self-propelled gun in scale of 1:30
PTH130-K255B self-propelled gun is a Vietnamese combination of a Soviet M-46 130 mm field gun, mounted on a heavily modified KrAZ-255B 6x6 truck chassis.
PTH130-K255B is developed based on Cuban Jupiter V self-propelled gun.
Gunship - armored NOTAR with jet assisted propulsion. Sounds as sexy, as you ever may imagine. For real one, few concepts were created, but soviet style of NOTAR didn't want to work as expected, so project was ditched. Ironically, this bad boy was a P&Q nightmare to balance.
SPAAG - literally our lovely ZSU-57-2 without drawbacks. Belt-fed canons instead of clip loading, liquid-cooling for barrels, radar to aim at jets -sounds wonderfull, isn't it? Turret with 3 minifigs was not so.
Jeep - for Best Germany aesthetics I needed Best Germany offroader of course. And that was great excuse to rebuild one 9 year old model. It was really bad.
ParaSPAAG - lightweight Tunguska for VDV. No more no less. But conical radar dish was cool.
Heavy truck - shame on me, but I didn't have any truck model for the gameplay time being. But just as allways some lame sideMOC turned into something cooler than just a wagon-cab KrAZ.

The only truck like this in the fleet, it's used to transport our workers on the toughest places in Russia...
Auf dem Gelände der Sandverladung Kayna waren drei KraZ abgestellt. Dem hier wachsen die Bäume, so lange steht er schon da.
Rusty soviet tanker KraZ, with trees growing out of him.
Seen in the early '80s when the M25 around Chertsey was being constructed are these AEC Mammoth Major 6 tippers commonly referred to as 'Wimpey Tippers' so called because Wimpey Ltd were involved with their design.
Featuring an high volume PTO pump that could tip the underfloor ram body very quickly, these AEC's also featured the MkV cab even though most were built in the late '60s and early '70s.
(A Russian built Belaz/Kraz is the second vehicle in the line up)
