Kai Ovalle (born 2004), known for his spontaneous, random line drawings, has recently begun drawing figures based in realism. This is a radical break from his established style, and is creating varied responses from his main collectors and curators (Mom & Dad), ranging from relief to dissapointment.
Although he will often revert back to his whimsical old style as well as going in a direction of simple geometric, repetitious strokes, he is now seen reciting "Nose, Mouth, Eyes..." as he creates somewhat realistic drawings of faces.
His collectors are eager to see the random technique again, and he has been granted free use of water color brushes and paint. (at least, when Mom is in a mood to clean up after him.)
