A cute playful dog loves sand. If you challenge me, I'll give you a jump in the air as a gift. Vrouwenpolder beach, Netherlands.
One of the kids we found on top of the rocks in the beach in Calella. The moment when you are alone and you need to face your fears to jump. We waited there for a while but the poor boy was too afraid to jump and he never made it. Next time!.
Thank you all for your appreciation.

Same beach as yesterday…very different shot. These are my good friends Brynn and Peter who are getting married this fall. When they asked if I would take some engagement shots for them I absolutely jumped (pun totally intended) at the chance! I haven’t had many opportunities to work with models so I was grateful to them for the practice (and Kevin was grateful to get a break from being the main focus of my lens).
This shot totally sums up just how much fun they are! We had a great time taking shots all around the city, and even though the weather tried it’s best to thwart us, we managed to dodge the raindrops and get some great shots. I’ll be posting a few more as I process them, but there was no question that this one should be my shot of the day.
Second attempt at Macro Photography with the use of extension tubes. Focus is not spot-on yet, but we keep practicing...

According to the legend, a man who had been excommunicated was buried inside the walls of these ruins in 1715. That night there was a big storm, and the next morning the wall had moved three feet to where it still stands today.

Here a friendly small jumping spider, about 6mm. He likes to jump on my t-shirt and looks directly in the camera, face recognition doesn't work with him, but the 60mm macro with flash light does its job very well :)
The jumping spider family (Salticidae) contains more than 500 described genera and about 5,000 described species, making it the largest family of spiders with about 13% of all species. Jumping spiders have some of the best vision among arthropods and use it in courtship, hunting, and navigation.

I started to set up a jump rope scene, but this horse jumping idea took over and I got to use my new horse.
