There are certain color combos that make me exponentially happy. This is one. The Jetpack is an acid yellow shirt balanced with two oddly matching tones of green and all highlighted by the visible bright turquoise serged thread. Cropped, asymmetric, long sleeved, quite lightweight.

The guys were very nice and let me play with their toys even though there's no official public tour. SO COOL

After lots of fine tuning with the hammer, I was able to unveil my newest invention today: My very own Jetpack!
I always wanted one, but even though I hinted at this in my very subtle way for numerous times I never got one. So I just had to build one myself.
I was very excited when the time came for a first test launch. I got out my lucky aviators, strapped myself into the Jetpacks an pressed the start button.
Only when I had pressed it did I remembered that I hadn’t thought to include a steering device…. Baaaaahhhh…..
This is the first public flight of the Martin Jetpack. It took place at AirVenture 2008 in Oshkosh. The pilot is Glenn Martin's son, Harrison.

I only recall one Generation 1 episode where Optimus Prime used a jetpack. In More Than Meets The Eye, Part 3 he uses Sideswipe's jetpack to chase after the Decepticons, who had just launched off to Cybertron. I'm quite certain there was another episode...
This is the jetpack that various NPCs in the Lego Universe game wear/use.
It was later given out by the Mythrans when Lego was going to close down Lego Unverse to players who were online playing at the time.
This picture shows it being modeled by a new Dino minifig which has "graciously volunteered" to wear it for the camera.
Also known as the Flying Pulpit, this, one of three proof-of-concept machines, first flew around 1980. Power was from one modified Williams F107 turbofan called the WR-19-A7D, rated at 600 lb thrust. It could hover or fly in any direction at speeds of up to 60 mph. Endurance was 45 minutes.
With his Jetpack he's able to be surprisingly fast near the enemy. He's good in his job. He needs his steel blade to kill a bug, if the first shot failed or there are more then one .
