"jetpack and all. Astounding."
"Their timing was impeccable."
"I suppose we had better see about getting her back."
"Well, we can't allow this sort of thing, now can we?"
"No, that was a Prototype!"
Flit tests out her new jetpack back at home base.

We were succesful in fending off the Droids on Christophsis, but not without a cost. We lost one man and two more got injured. They gave us replacements from the Third Regiment to fill in the missing manpower needed for our next mission.
The next mission was on Teth. We have to aid General Skywalker and the 501st Legion in the rescue of a relative of Jabba The Hutt who got kidnapped by Separatist Forces and who are holding him in a monastery. Our part in the rescue mission was to disable a large Ion canon that the Separatists had placed on a second monastery not far away from the one the Hutt is kept in.
We have to make sure the Ion canon gets destroyed before General Skywalker and his troops arrive or there mission will be short lived!
The monastery is located on a large rock formation above the clouds and only accessibly via air. We choose to use high altitude jetpacks to get to the monastery.
VICTORY!
We were able to destroy the Ion Canon! The 501st is clear to enter the planet surface. The enemy didn’t expect our attack and didn’t know where to shoot first. We managed to catch them by surprise by flying up the mountain on the south-west corner. First we had to take down the turbo lasers and droid forces stationed on the monastery’s walls before we could destroy the Ion Canon. Not an easy task, but we managed to complete our mission!

New 253rd build! I really enjoyed building this, the mountain was a pain in the ass at times but I'm glad with how it turned out! I really liked to build the monastery part though!
I hope you enjoy the MOC!
When I was refining the design, I tried to think of some accessories for the robot. Here's 3 (well, actually 2,5) jetpack designs. They're attached to W.A.L.T.'s back, instead of the battery compartment's lid. Do you have a favourite ?
Instructions will be released on rebrickable in the coming months, and I will show more accessories in the next few weeks.
W.A.L.T. will be available for preorder on bricklink starting February 16th. :)
The 7th episode Book of Boba was the action packed finale of the series. For my last vignette I chose to capture the fighting scene of the two boys with their jetpacks and Beskar armor versus the Pykes!
Once a normal, run of the mill billionaire, Jetpack Johnson decided to steal one of those water jetpack things while on vacation. Using his billionaire powers, he turned it into a working jetpack and decided to use it for good! Problem is, he has his hands full.
And this clever thing, if I do say so myself. The part connecting the phone piece thingy to the cones is a motorcycle wheel from older sets, or pulley wheels as Bricklink calls them.

Hi!
Here is an entry for an internal competition Lug'Est "building a nimporte kind of vehicle with a maximum of 50 pieces"
As the organizer of this competition, I can not compete but I wanted to make a free entry.
So here is my Steampack in 45 parts (excluding minifig and base)
In the air - Wow, zip zam zowie and swoosh, it's total fun. Only fuel stops you, a controlled soft landing is much much preferred to the alternative.
On the ground - It's shit! An amendment to that soft controlled landing line should include landing as close as possible to your support vehicle...damn the bugger is freaking heavy...
Hey guys,
It is time for me to present to you my newest addition to my THE MANDALORIAN season 3 building series called - The foundling.
Like I said before I build something from chapter 20 and not from chapter 19, because nothing catches me in this episode. Here is a short summary of scene which I build:
[...]
As Ragnar walks away, he is snatched up by a giant flying reptavian creature. Djarin aims his blaster at the creature, but Paz Vizsla stops him, saying he might hit the child, and instead they should follow it to its lair. Vizsla, Djarin and two other Mandalorians fly after the creature with their jetpacks.
The group follows the creature over a mostly-barren rocky landscape until their jetpacks begin to fail as they run out of fuel. As Vizsla watches the reptavian retreat into the distance and laments that it always gets away, Kryze's ship appears, pursuing with ease.
[...]
I build the pursuit with the mandalorians and the creature (you only can see the leg with Ragnar in his claws) in the rocky landscape above a river. Hopefully you like my version of it, please share your opinion in the comments below.
Greetings Kevin
without our jetpacks.
We'd expected an unbroken line of cliffs, we went in and looked anyway.

Spelunky 2 - one of the greatest computer games ever. With randomly generated levels and huge variety of mechanics, it's an endless source of chaotic entertainment.
I've spent many hours playing it instead of building MOCs. With this build, I'm killing two birds with one stone!

So I finally built an elite ranger. This is my second Reach MOC. The needle rifle colors were done through editing. Oh, and he has a jetpack.
This is last one, I promise! XP I literally took two side panels off that red boarding craft I built awhile ago and thought "Gee, these would look good as wings"
Enjoy!
OK, bit of imagination required for the "smoking jetpack" part, but it is smoke from a small smoke machine for Macro Mondays theme "smoke"
This guy is 3.1" from boot sole to ear top, hope that's acceptable

I made two or three of this things in one night, just tinkering. The wings are actually very flexible and can move to different configurations
Enjoy!
very detailed! nice work!

The Broadsword was a project I started awhile back when I was first designing the Lancer, I was trying to build a jetpack for it and found some arms form some old Alpha team sets that made a pretty cool thruster pack! However I didn’t feel that the yellow color quite went with the lancer's theme so I set it aside for a later project. After deciding that I did not have any mechs that could accommodate this design I decided to build a new one for the jetpack, one that would be more humanoid (like the lancer) and maybe have a sword. It got pushed to the back of a long line of projects for awhile and when I finally decided to work on it I decided to add a bit of "gundam" styling to the design as well as building the cockpit similar to BT's from titianfall 2,. then I discovered I really didn’t have very many yellow "plating" parts and so I decided to start working in LEGO Digital Designer. Incidentally I ended up designing so much in LDD, I started posting screen shots and eventually renders as WIP pics. This seemed pretty popular on Instagram (you can go see them at www.instagram.com/deadglitch71/) so I kept going until I had built the entire mech in LDD (which is unusual for me). After that I constructed the skeleton to test joint functionality/weighting, made a few improvements to the model and then had to order a bunch of parts to get it plated and finished. The whole experience was interesting, I'm getting used to LDD enough to be comfortable to work in it but its hard to check against my current inventory when designing and I end up using a lot of parts I don’t actually own (I had to make 4 bricklink orders for the Broadsword) but then again it does let me use parts I don’t have so it's a back and forth thing.
I borrowed some design ideas for the sword from www.flickr.com/photos/velocites/ I hope he doesn't mind
I'm not going to make the usual Bio for this mech because I really don’t feel that this one will "fit in" with the rest of mecha, even in a prototype/concept sense like I did with the artillery piece
I did measure it and it would stand at 48ft high, scaled to the minifig (which I made form some exo-force sets to go with the gundam theme)
