Jeep is a brand of American auto mobiles that is a division of FCA US LLC , a wholly owned subsidiary of Fiat Chrysler Auto-mobiles. The former Chrysler Corporation acquired the Jeep brand, along with the remaining assets of its owner American Motors, in 1987.

As I was driving to Moab this morning, I saw there was going to be a nice sunrise. I quickly looked for an interesting setting to take a photo from, but came up with nothing. So I found a dirt road, pulled off the highway and put my Jeep in the foreground.

The official name of this vehicle was "U.S. Army Truck, 1/4 ton, 4x4." There were about 650,000 made and they served around the world.

On Glebeholme Boulevard, not far from my home, I came across three Jeep SUVs parked together. No. 1 and No. 2 from two different generations but in the same burgundy-red colour; No. 2 and No. 3 of the same generation but in different colours.
I cracked the front axle tube on the Jeep while running Poison Spider Trail in Moab. Years ago I had the tube sleeved, so I didn't lose any gear oil. In fact, I didn't even know this happened until I got back to the motel.
The local repair shop had me fixed and back on the trail in no time.
