I am really digging the way these shots came out. It's for a new series I am starting called Jeep People. I am going to capture portraits of people with their Jeeps out on the trails. If you own a Jeep or know someone who might want to be a part of this project let me know!

This is a 'Brenizer' pano of about 20 images taken with my X-Pro3 and 56mm f1.2.

Just a 100% crop of the previous photo. I usually don't fake panoramas, but I though this looked good and you can actually see the Jeeps (and the impostor). It's also not resized. Original size, if you can see it, is 5,048 x 1,144.

American Expedition Vehicle, 5.7L Hemi

Classic Jeep advertisement celebrating the CJ-5 Laredo. It's no wonder the Jeep brand has stayed on track for over seven decades - the capability theme has never changed. Read the copy from 1980 with it's strong style and resale value story and it could be substituted for a JK of today.

Copy:

The legendary Jeep vehicles have been protecting forests, transporting troops, delivering mail, plowing snow, winning races and weathering storms for more than a quarter of a century. Longer than a lot of vehicles have even existed.

They've given American drivers more outward mobility, rugged performance and pure fun than any single car in history. And they've held onto their value like they've held onto their legendary design, transcending passing styles season after season, year after year.

But today's Jeep CJ is more than its famous four wheels driving into the sunset. It's the option of contoured buckets, room for four, carpeting, air conditioning, stereo ... hardtop. soft top, no top at all. And something you'll appreciate every time you drive: more miles per gallon than any 4-wheeler made in America. No other vehicle can meet your demands and desires in quite the same way.

Jeep CJ wasn't born a legend. It had to earn the respect of the world's toughest drivers, and keeps on earning it every day. On wilderness trails and unplowed streets. On the job and out on the town. That's why the legend lives on.

Recently had a Jeep Specialist Company restore my 1981 Jeep CJ5. I originally bought this vehicle from a junkyard when I was only 19. With a lot of help from a High School friend, we got her on the road on a shoestring budget. I have a ton of history with this vehicle, including the days of meeting and dating W. It had not run in several years but those days are finally over. Pics taken near our house using HDR software to merge bracketed photos.

Islander edition

From 1988 until 1993, Jeep produced an option package known as the "Islander.” Several colors were offered, such as Bright Red, Sunset Yellow, Teal, and White.

Parked at Walian Creek and canyon, just south of Wood Lake, BC.

Looks like a modern-ish Jeep with an older front end put on it and then converted to a pickup truck. Neat custom project.

"Yours may go fast, but mine can go anywhere."

To me, few vehicles look good in brown, but Jeeps are the exception. One of my cousins had one of these

when we were kids. The fact that I can still remember that 30 or so years later, means it made an impression on me.

I've been looking for a vehicle to do in brown, and since I'm not really happy with the TJ I did earier, I thought I'd give the Jeep another go.

Dear Lego, if you could go ahead and produce a 2x5 tile with clips in trans-blue, so we can have a 5-wide windscreen, that'd be great.

Willys Jeep

The Willys MB is a four-wheel drive utility vehicle that was manufactured during World War II. Produced from 1941 to 1945, it evolved post-war into the civilian Jeep CJ, and inspired both an entire category of recreational 4WDs and several generations of military light utility vehicles.

This Jeep is a minifig size model. Fully functional steering. You can play with a steerable 6 stud wide minifig model. Actually this was an experiment how to realize a working steering on a minifig scaled car, and it works perfectly.

Features:

- steering

- stable build

- two minifig can sit side by side in the front seats, and one at the back

- set with three minifigs

- turnable machine gun mounted

- fixing points for tools

Have fun!

It seems like I always see some of the nicest Jeep Wranglers on some of the ugliest days. If I waited for the perfect days I would be missing out on some nice wrangler photos.

Jeep J10 pickup

The pickups were designated as J2000 and J4000 models (the 3000 series was dropped in 1971) until 1973, then as J10 and J20 models from 1974 to 1988.

Engines:

From 1971 to 1972 Jeep pickups offered the AMC 304 cu in (5.0 L) 210 hp (157 kW; 213 PS) V8 as an optional engine.

The AMC 258 cu in (4.2 L) I6 engine was introduced in 1972 and offered through 1988. The engine produced 112 hp (84 kW; 114 PS) and 210 lb·ft (285 N·m) of toque.

The AMC 360 cu in (5.9 L) was offered in 1971 and through 1988. Producing in early versions 175 hp (130 kW; 177 PS) and 245 lb·ft (332 N·m) of torque. Later 360s produced 195 hp (145 kW; 198 PS) and 295 lb·ft (400 N·m) of torque.

The model designations were simplified for 1974, with the J-2000 becoming the J-10 and the J-4000 changed to J-20. Larger brakes were made standard and the turning radius reduced. The Quadra-Trac system was now available with all engines.
