Getting my two kids to do their homework, while keeping my two little nephews entertained at the same time is my least favorite job of the day.
We love taking photos of the sky. most of the ones we take are from our back garden. whatever the weather the sky is stunning !
It’s cold, windy, and rainy outside today — I’m glad to be inside! Watching political commentary on CNN may not be very exciting, but … at least it beats being cold and wet!
I was about to change the bedding but Kitty decided to visually encapsulate all my feelings about January ...
bit cold this morning ,and i made the mistake of venturing out without my wide angle stuff .when i got across the other side of the estuary from me ,only about 3 miles as the crow flies there had been a fair covering of light snow .this is my best attempt with the 400mm lens to capture the essence of it .
I finished my first month!

My 52 week project Collette. We lucked out and got the perfect winter weather for this outdoor snow portrait.
The key was a YN560 through Wescott Rapid Octa above camera and a bare YN560 camera-right. Both triggered manually, shot with Nikon D7k w/ 17-55 f2/8.
