Today's travels took me to Kinlochleven - after starting the day in overcast and damp conditions things really did pick up! I had to stop a couple of times on the way home, this was one such stop!

The vacant office building down the end of the road is rapidly deteriorating, or as I like to put it, is rapidly turning ever more photogenic. I think homeless people broke in (well, crawled in through the broken door) to take shelter in the recent very cold weather. The security guys have been round to board up every opening window on the ground floor, but there are still plenty of holes through which to gain access.

We went to have a look at the huts that we are hoping to be installing on our site today.

They are very, very nice. In the "off" season I am planning to run photography workshops and courses using these as our on-site accommodation so they are going to be equipped with underfloor heating and woodburning stoves to keep them super comfy inside!
