842 is the latest vehicles to be painted into the newer version of the sky blue 15/16 livery. Here it is working the 3:27pm from Purley to Reading (the display is wrong!). Earlier in the day, it had been working the route 15 journeys from Reading at xx43 from 9:43am to 1:43pm, then it worked the 2:50pm 16 to Purley and here is returning to Reading.

It was one of few really sunny days of the january. The day was also freezing cold like almost whole january was.
I did a long walk with a 6x6 Bronica and monopod. One of the highlights of beginning of this year :)

Thursday is my Friday. Woo hoo!
Finished work early to collect Noah from school, then got to go and collect William from nursery too - I love those moments when my child is released back to me and the look on their face says they are (generally) happy about it!
Once the boys were in bed, my parents appeared with delicious takeaway pizzas and we watched the first Hobbit film. It was a nice night, and I'm glad we did it because my dad will go back into surgery next week and there won't be this opportunity for a short while.

Day 7. My soft toys (and balloon I got almost 4 years ago!) that live on top of my hi-fi. The three knitted ones were made by my mum and are very special to me.

The skies were cloudy ALL day until sundown when Canada sent down a big puff of air that cleared us out. Watched the moon all evening and then it was totally overcast the next morning.
(Anyone know what was that point of light near the moon this week?)

I have been washing my hand made socks as I wear them and then, once dry, folding them and adding them to this pile on the radiator. It's high time I put them away properly

I have been offered a film and challenged to use my film camera for a shoot. It must be 25 years since I have used my trusty OM4. Luckily I seem to have stored it reasonably well and, with some fresh batteries, it seems to be fully functional. I will need to read that instuctions book though!
