The statue after which the Jade Buddha Temple (玉佛禅寺) is named. A sitting Buddha, 1.95 m tall, made from Jade and weighs in at about 3 metric tons.
The temple is located at 170 Anyuan Rd. in Jing'an district (静安区安远路170号).

Yu Shan or Yushan, also known as Mount Jade, Jade Mountain, or Mount Yu, and known as Mount Niitaka during Japanese rule, is the highest mountain in Taiwan at 3,952 m (12,966 ft) above sea level, giving Taiwan the 4th-highest maximum elevation of any island in the world. It is the highest point in the western Pacific region outside of the Kamchatka Peninsula. Yushan and its surrounding mountains belong to the Yushan Range. The area was once in the ocean; it rose to its current height because of the Eurasian Plate's movement over the Philippine Sea Plate.

Also known as a Money tree (not that it's done me any good), Jade bushes are in flower at present with sweet, unassuming little flowers. After a good few photos, I think my phone's camera scrubs up quite well.

Here The Jade Belt Bridge, also known as the Camel's Back Bridge, an 18th-century pedestrian moon bridge located on the grounds of the Summer Palace in Beijing. It is famous for its distinctive tall thin single arch. The Jade Belt Bridge is the most well-known of the six bridges on the western shore of Kunming Lake.
