Macro Mondays Theme: It's Alive!!

With the theme "It's Alive" I need to be active, need to do research, need to go outside and search for the subject. I think this seed plant is suited for the theme and the group rules in terms of size. The subject size are 1.75" in height and leaf diameter of 0.25". Ascend from a stony dried soil... It's Alive!!! right?

Thanks to the tilted able LCD monitor of Fujifilm X-T10 for easier viewing while taking photo.

This photo was taken through a visual microscope during a botany lesson, in which we were watching the anther's cells of a Lilium flower. Most cell-walls have blue colour and most nuclei are purple. The round-shaped cells are called pollen mother cells and they will produce pollen grains. Pollen grains are responsible for many allergies during Spring.

This is the last of the very small hydrangea leaves we have out front, covered in a heavy frost earlier this week. This was probably the last day that they really had any life to them...

Was taking pics of the crypthanthus plants in my garden when this teeny weeny spider appeared on the scene...HMM!
