Well its been over a year since this little guy has stole our hearts. He is such a great dog and makes me smile every day. I found this photo from last year, hope you like it too.✌️😎

Its the first time I've found toad spawn and they are in long sausage like strings :)

Its an aerial transfer bridge that carries a segment of roadway across a river. The design has been used to cross navigable rivers or other bodies of water, where there is a requirement for ship traffic to be able to pass.

Happy weekend everyone :)

As its name suggests, the impressive rock formation on the Great Ocean Road resembled an archway rising 25 metres from the sea.

Back in June 2009, the arch of Island Archway collapsed and all that remains now are the two rocks that previously supported the arch.

The two remaining rock pillars of the gorge have been named Tom and Eva after the two survivors of the shipwreck back in the 19th century.

This tree perched on the edge of the sandstone cliffs at Roslin Glen decides to shed some of its snow into the Esk as the sun beats down from the other side. The backlight on the snow gives the oak a coral effect. For a minutes or so all the trees were getting in on the act here dropping their snow into the river.

Its been awhile since I've updated a studio pic. I've been busy spring cleaning and packing shit, accumulated from my endless hoarding of cute stuff from over 15 years ago. Going through all these treasures sure brings back much memories. Its like opening a time machine and this made me think of why I love doing what I do so much. Collecting toys, animation and making colourful candy art is my life. It makes me happy. Very, very happy.

This is a typical evening in the sweet studio where all the magic happens. Of course I added some imaginary friends in there, but its pretty much what goes on in my head. Trippy all the time.

Its not how many groups you can get your picture in, its the people that make Flicr

If I leave here tomorrow

Would you still remember me?

Cause I'm as free as a bird now

And this bird you can not change

But please don't take it so badly

Cause Lord knows I'm to blame

With its scruffy crest and long bill this Dalmation Pelican put me in mind of "Big Bird" in Sesame Street. It Looks as if it is stifling a laugh.

This is a captive bird I photographed at Arundel last year.

Dalmation Pelican are one of the world's heaviest flying birds. Former inhabitant of Britain's wetlands they haven't been wild in the UK since medieval times when people started to drain swamps, bogs and lakes to farm the land. Its name comes from their supposed place of origin - Dalmatia, Croatia, altough it is found across large parts of Europe and Asia. One arrived in Cornwall in May 2016 and stayed for the year. The bill pouch flashes orange in the breeding season. It has a scruffy crest, wingspan over 3m, They are good swimmers (webbed feet) and splendid fliers.

Thank you all for your kind responses.

Many thanks for taking a close look at my gallery, its highly appreciated!

The Laughing Gull is named for its nasal call, but its appearance is rather stately. The birds are year-round residents of the coastal regions of the southeastern USA — this individual was seen at Goose Island State Park, Texas.

Its lifespan is about 75 days... only during a mere 6 does it manifest as that great Atlas Butterfly, Attacus atlas. Most of its life is in various stages from egg to caterpillar, pupa, and only finally in the Flighty Form. Earlier I posted a 'late' caterpillar I saw in Kuala Lumpur (www.flickr.com/photos/87453322@N00/6563518879/in/photolis...).

Great Linnaeus knew it as a Phalaena atlas. 'Attacus' was given to our Butterfly by Jacob Hübner in 1816. Somehow he may have derived that name from the biblical book Leviticus (11.22) where the word in the (Greek) Septuagint and the (Latin) Vulgate is used for a giant locust. Atlas, of course, is the 'World-carrier'. Here in the photo is an early instar (eight days or so) photographed from the top and its side (see inset).

Despite its name, this is an Early Purple Orchid. This white form is relatively uncommon. Seen at Tides Low Rake near Tideswell.

Its mission was to cross the outdoor carpet before anything ate him. His problem ? It was very chilly out and he was moving in slow motion! I had time to go back in the house, walk to the other end of the house and still get lots of snaps of it! It eventually did make it to safety I'm happy to say! Happy Sabbath everyone! I hope your day is blessed and full of lots of photo ops. :)
