Important: The notes on the image explain a lot.

The existing issue listing page is bogged down with filtering options. While they're nice, they're overkill 99% of the time. I wanted to simplify the issue listing page and more seamlessly integrate the filtering options into the navigation structure.

This means significantly less control, but a dramatically more natural interface. I'm half-expecting that we'll need to continue to offer detailed filtering as an option, but it won't be the default any more.

There's a few aspects of this mockup that show an inaccurate page state as well as lots of elements and functionality missing, but I wanted to throw this out there anyhow.

Jen was kind enough to get in front of the camera for me and DreamWorldPhotoArt this past weekend for our September Issue project.

I did something way different with the post processing this time. I really pushed the sliders all the way up to get this look. Just having a little fun with it.

Zach made his way home!! He's a Minifee Rix in tanskin. He's my first minifee boy. I have some issues with him. His head was very wobbly, his turn key thing doesn't want to stay in the correct position. He's got a resin booger. It's not noticeable in photos, thank goodness, but in person you can see it. So, I have to be careful with how I pose his head. I'm not sure how to remove it. I'll figure it out eventually. I was very disappointed when I saw it for the first time. Despite those issues he also has pretty obvious seams and spots of discoloration associate with tan skin due to the gate removal and such.

I was expecting better from Fairyland. This was my first direct purchase with them and he shipped in less than two months.

It'll probably be awhile before I order from Fairyland again. At this point I really only need a few bodies and I can get them secondhand so...yeah, I might not be ordering from them ever again. But,...you know, that's um..probably not possible because I really love these dolls, and Mio is already calling me. damn

Despite everything, I'm really happy with him. He's adorable and cute, and at the same time has a fierceness about him. He needs to be able to switch from those two looks because Zach is very protective of his girls and also very cute!

Wedge issue - a sculpted skirt in black and mustard gold with a lot going on! It's knee length or just below, depending on how you wear it on your waist. It has large pleats all around the back - flatter in front with a large sculpted decorative flap flanking your right hip. Asymmetric hem - it has a large wavy linen ruffle around the bottom that gives it extra body.

Perfect for dancing.

I fixed some smoke-box issues created the last time I fiddled with the engine. Basically I removed the upside down slopes from the front of the loco.

Also, this model still needs Big Ben Bricks "XL" drivers, two sets of flanged and blind. The LDD file uses stand-in L drivers, so remember to remove them before building!

Vintage September 1958 issue of Mad Magazine with a great color by numbers themed cover by illustrator Kelly Frees. Instead of numbers there are all little gags in the spaces to be colored. Nice early issue with a very well thought out cover. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!

Are there "real people" that work Facebook's customer service? Still locked out of my Facebook account, which has now dis-connected from every tool, app, and website that I use with Facebook. I've sent two emails but....no body home. After much searching I actually did find a help for that I didn't have to login to facebook to submit (wonder if they can see the irony in that). Like I say in my message to them. I would love love love to have facebook pleasantly surprise me.

The image of Pocahontas used for the 5-cent stamp of the Jamestown Exposition Issue was modeled from a portrait engraved by Dutch artist Simon Van de Passe in 1616.

The issue is a part of three engraved stamps that celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Jamestown, Virginia colony, the first permanent English colony in the New World named in honor of King James. Among the settlers was Captain John Smith who was saved from a death sentence when Pocahontas, an Indian chief's daughter, interceded.

Hi-Res PDF (log: build 1001)

NAVIGATE it

# # #

An issue devoted to the inquiry and test of the coding, reach and endurance possibilities of graphic means of communication.

Multiple messages.

How much texts fit in a text ?

How much in a picture, how much in a collage ?

How far does the medium bears the load ?

How much information can be encrypted ?

How much message stands a message ?

How many readings ?

How far the significant density can be forced / demanded / multiplied ?

How much the content layers add ?

Staggered sublevels (hierarchic or NOT-hierarchic) ?

How far the invisible architecture can be extended (how deep) ?

Launched from works exploring / exploiting this possibilities.

Works which explain and give the topic a turnover.

Which risk.

Game, mockery and humor.

Critics, the mass-media mechanisms put into evidence.

Narrations with as many readings as possible.

Mixed-media with as much message it can contain.

How much message can be stored in a can ?

# # #

Messages multiples.

A problem with CryEngine3 is that when your heightmap reaches altitudes in excess of 300-400 metres, the terrain starts to suffer from precision errors, which result in the terrain being impossible to smooth 100%.

CryEngine2 does not have this issue so there may be a chance this project will suitable for CE2 only.

Apparently CryTek are aware of the issue though and will be releasing a fix soon.
