TUMBLR.

Like multitudes of my fellow voluntary shut-ins, I have been finding alternative projects to use my time. Locked in an apartment makes me yearn for a return to the days of having a garden in which I could mow lawns and weed vegetable beds (incurring insect bites and sunburn!). Today I have re-edited an old jpg in two styles, using Luminar 4. One uses sky replacement and the other has a texture overlay and some little additions via sky augmentation.

Busselton Jetty is a well known landmark of Western Australia's Margaret River region. Stretching 1841 metres out into Geographe Bay, it is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.

I could sit there for hours

Ulm is very foggy once in a while and it can be very dense. I think it's geographic thing.

It was a foggy day and I took camera with me to the universiy. So I stopped a little bit and did some photos.

The field is between where I live and the university. Imagine working late and come back at night. You can experience the feeling of being alone in the radius of around 200m or more. pretty cool.

The framing is done in the style of Slot666. A contact of mine who I really admire his works. You can see it here www.flickr.com/photos/slot666/

Landscape is something I really have not much clue and I have to say that his work is quite inspiring to me.

This is a very cool thing about flickr. I have learnt so much from going through people's photostreams

Walking around Tavertet just at dawn, when everyone is still in bed, makes you feel really lonely. You are surrounded by old and cold stones in buildings, roads… meant to be used by people, but there is no one around to use them. Only you. The birds singing and the cool breeze hitting your ears are the only sounds that reach you from time to time. The rest is just silence, emptiness, void. (Continue reading)

After getting home after a long day at work, the weather conditions were horrible. However I decided to grab the camera, get back on the bike and head to a place I've tried so many times in the past to photograph and yet I could never get a composition I liked. The snow, mist and clouds resulted in a simple composition. One lonely tree, in the distance a small bunch of trees and nothing else.

Not really a DOF effect. Was playing around in Photoshop... there is something here... I'm not sure if I like it.

the tree line between 2 of our fields is full of it...

the fog is dense, the temp around 40 degrees when my hands tried to take this...

even earlier than this i was out without my camera ...very foggy and the geese are moving silently in the fog....i was just out there standing under them and nothing more than the sound of their wings flapping over head very low... low enough to feel the breeze of their wings and i know it is a feeling of them leaving...and that is such a chilling breeze to me.

These trees I will have to visit again as they stand in splendid isolation on the moors above Ladybower.

What a glorious sunny day today. Not great for photography but wonderful to be outdoors.
