"It sort of talked to me!"
"It said ....."
"I'm in Isolation!"
"And I replied"

36/52 - Isolation
these past days I've been in Florida and it's been so much fun! from seeing helen jay Sarah Cebulski and David , too shooting with them all day, and better yet just having a nice time with friends.
May be it is sunset time for humans but there will again be a sunrise... lets do the best we can to save ourselves and others!
My life feels so derailed and it's not getting better. I do lots of praying and lots of crying. Been burning so much sage the smell is in my hair.
I said to friends that I feel like I'm at a rodeo I'm not at all familiar with, after really I feel like I'm in a boxing match with the heavy weight champion of the world and I'm getting the shit beat out of me.
I feel like I've aged so much in a matter of days, shaved years off my life and I did everything right. I was adherent to care, never missed a dose of medication, unless I didn't have access to it and this time not having access to it could very well end my life or I'm going to have to deal with other medical things I've never dealt with before and have no history of in my family.
The only thing this has to do with Covid is that everything cannot be focused on it. Especially when millions are already battling other conditions.
Captain Angry Aviary had the perfect location for his pirate hideout until the government built the bridge! Now, A.A. and his crew have to walk two miles to get to the ship. That's just unacceptable when you are carrying rum and booty!

Ok so maybe I'm not that great at drawing raindrops, but this was a heap of fun :)

Yellow Warblers are pretty rare to find in the bay area. When I have found them, they are incredibly tough to get good shots of. They tend to flit and remain high in dense canopy. This morning I finally had a 2 second, 15 burst sequence op. The first clean chance in 2 years/15 attempts. Those in the know might have an idea of where this was taken ;)
Just a feeling and they don't last forever.
Shot on Kodak TMax 400 with the Mamiya C220. Rated at 400 and developed in Xtol at stock strength.
I processed this image a couple of days ago and have been sitting on it since. I had/have things I wanted to say with it, thoughts and emotions to translate into words to accompany caught light. But I cannot quite seem to make them make sense. Normally I am good at expressing myself through writing, I have had practice at it. But sometimes I cannot penetrate the fog or the depths or the shadows or bridge the gaps between one disparate notion and another. Sometimes this bothers me, sometimes it fascinates me. Sometimes it makes me feel like I did here, at the edge of the ocean, for I cannot make sense of its depths or its mysteries either. I know what I know, and sometimes I learn a bit more, but generally it remains largely indescribable.

With this capture I tried to have the waterfall be the only thing that is visible and in focus, creating an isolated effect.
