Always when viewing these statues,a mix of emotions can be felt...a triumph of art,I think,that inaminate objects can be so personally appreciated...and when viewed at sunset,they take on a melancholy air...
This is an image that I took on my walkabout at Rutland Water in Lincolnshire a couple of weeks ago.
A mono version of a very foggy Embleton Bay, Northumberland. 100 yards inland was glorious sunshine and 20 degrees C.
Copper Coast, Waterford, Ireland.

With so much going on with my health lately causing me to stay locked up and covid restricting even more, I feeling like my world have completely caved in on me and trying t o find a way out has really fucked with my mental health to the point where I've at times forgotten who my friends are. Let me be clear, I mean I've asked them "who are you?" I forget who I am.
So looking forward to hearing of some light at the end of the tunnel soon but until then, stay safe folks!
Self-isolation for an extended time places constrains on us as photographers. Painters can continue to paint whatever their imagination can conjure, but we photographers have to find things to photograph in the confined space we now live in. For years, I was saying that my imagination is my Iceland, my African Safari, my Antelope Canyon - you get the idea. Now I am constrained in terms of where me and my camera can go and so this is the put up or shut up time. I am now building up a series (code name Covid-19) that is shot exclusively from within my apartment building (mostly my apartment). Please consider looking at all images in the series and tell me what you think.

This aging barn reminded me of the isolation that the early settlers to the mountains of North Carolina must have felt....and perhaps cherished....
