A mono version of a very foggy Embleton Bay, Northumberland. 100 yards inland was glorious sunshine and 20 degrees C.
Yep. I saw the amazing Roger Waters show last night and was inspired to post something Floydian. 30 years later "The Wall" is no less relevant and thanks to the technology used in the show, even more mind blowing. See it if you can.

The whole family is now in isolation until the 20th December due to positive Covid tests, bored, bored, bored, so went into the garden to clear up after Max, non-dog walk deposits and took a few shots......

Wandering around the archives looking for something else and this one popped up for a look.
Looking south into the North Atlantic from Stórhöfði on Heimaey in the Vestmannaeyjar Islands. The rocks, islets and islands in the frame (L to R) Geldungur, Súnlnasker, Hellisey, and Suðurey Island, all of whom are less than 11,000 years old.
Magical Surtsey which appeared from the depths in the 60s is hiding behind Suðurey.

A joint effort today. I thought I'd have a go at some product photography, so what better product to feature than a home-made wholemeal loaf, baked by Mrs Palmer?

The task is to explore the house, inside and out, finding new ways of looking at the familiar things that surround me every day, and literally shedding new light on them - hopefully producing a worthwhile photograph.
Might not be one every day, but we'll see.
