The wildlife can only look on and wait, the cormorants cannot fish or the swans and ducks feed on the weed as the lake is frozen over. Cannot walk on it yet either but if the cold nights continue that may change.

Yesterday, on route from Rothbury to Scotland, we called at the amazing Cragside estate…

The original beautiful eco home, and gorgeous gardens.

After waiting what seemed to be hours I managed to get this photo with no people or vehicles on it.

Some of these relics date back almost 100 years, and if the walls could talk, the stories they’d tell!

At Lytham St Anne’s

On Sunday we’d arranged to take our 18 yo niece and her boyfriend to Blackpool for the day.

We dropped them off at the Sandcastle, and arranged to meet them 4 hours later.

We then drove down the road into Lytham St Anne’s. A lot less people and a lovely wide open beach.

We had our lunch there, and then headed to the beach.

Patches has always loved that beach.

Flexible Red Charging Cable for Macro Mondays

The loop is about 1.5 inches or 3.75 centimeters across.

How wonderful it was to be near to such an old Anglo Saxon cross. So many generations of people have seen and touched this before me. Now I’m in that group of people too.

I’m thinking also of the Stone Mason that carved it. What a brilliant craftsman. So much detail and patterns on all four sides.

It is also in the same footing that it was when it was made.

I’ve been getting heavily addicted to these shots as of late. Can’t wait to start doing cityscapes again. One of the perks of working at an airport.

I shot this from central Tucson in the valley. Tucson's elevation is 2000 feet, about 0.61 kilometers above sea level.

Scenes from the Chicago concert on June 17, 2023 at Sangamon Auditorium on the University of Illinois Springfield campus. Chicago is one of the longest-running and most successful rock groups of all time. Formed in 1967 (my sophomore year of high school), Chicago has recorded 38 albums and sold over 100 million records. The original members of the group were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Original band members Robert Lamb (keyboards), James Pankow (trombone) and Lee Loughnane (trumpet), now in their mid-to-late 70s, are still with the group and are in top form. It was a fantastic concert!!!

Catering for the airlines is a novel and somewhat fun job, but as of late, I capture as many sunsets as I possibly can. Originally, I was gonna post the plane on the ground by itself (before the plane above was about to land), but for some reason, something said to post this image instead. I wanna say that the jet on the tarmac was from Frontier, and the one landing came from Delta. Between now and the winter season, I still plan to catch as many sunsets as possible.

Hanging out with our Aussie brothers and sisters down under. Some of my best shots came from Brisbane. I still favour Tazzie over Sydney and Brisbane. We had a blast. Our friends stayed not too far from these high rises depicted, and his wife works downtown. I like how this image turned out.

More photos from my flights to Oakland CA for a performance, masterclass, and recording. All within 24 hrs.
