An example of expressive self-expression. Delightful!

Sometimes you laugh with them, and other times you must laugh at them.

Prepare them for life. When they're comfortable with themselves, they can be creative and not panic or shrivel when someone scoffs at them. Make sure the kid knows that other folks will have opinions, including opinions of her (or him), and that not all of those opinions will be good ones. Prepare them to deal with caustic, abrasive, cold, rude people. Make sure she knows that her own opinion of herself is more important than anyone else's.

As Eleanor Roosevelt told us, "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent." Give them the confidence to deal with people -- ignore people -- handle people -- who want to do just that.

If you do your job right, they won't be afraid to take silly pictures of themselves. :)

This snap was taken in SL and sent to slpics...took the color out in PS because it just seemed to fit...larger size is best I think

The Mosque was set up in 742 AD during the Tang Dinasty. It covers 13000 sq meters and is devided in 4 courtyards.

The Introspection Tower in the third court serves as a minaret.

OK. Photojournal, right. Introspection is harder than people make it look!

You can say I'm mad, you can say I'm crazy,

But I'm only as bad as the maker who made me:

Sinner in the darkness, liar in the church,

Deaf man's silence, the blind man's search.

Teardrop falling, memory recalling,

Ghost in your dreams & your secret recordings,

I rise to meet you as your trust dissolves to shame,

Oh this innocence has turned & lost its way,

Retrace the footprints off the path from which I came,

The bitterness, the jealousy,

The part of you that never sleeps.

Are you my angel?

Will we walk all night through solitary streets?

And you hardly can imagine what you never had before,

And the reason that you're given still leaves you wanting more.

Intriguing juxtaposition of reality versus requirement and oportunity.

They were gone when I walked by on the way home. I hope their owner found them!
