Everyone can use a little self introspection, i'm finding it during my time in the clink at DRD Prison yard set. Is society keeping me in or am i keeping you out?

Yeah, life is like a first kiss
You don't know how long it's gonna last
All you get is what you get
And it gets real really fast
I'm a love a little more, dream a little deeper
Leave all the leavers, keep all the keepers
Birnam Wood | The Tragedy of Macbeth
Be lion-mettled, proud, and take no care
Who chafes, who frets, or where conspirers are.
Macbeth shall never vanquish'd be until
Great Birnam Wood to high Dunsinane Hill
Shall come against him.
That will never be.
Who can impress the forest, bid the tree
Unfix his earth-bound root? Sweet bodements! good!
Rebellion's head, rise never till the wood
Of Birnam rise, and our high-plac'd Macbeth
Shall live the lease of nature, pay his breath
To time and mortal custom.

“Beaucoup rêvent de succès. A mon sens, le succès ne peut être atteint qu’après une succession d’échecs et d’introspections. En fait, le succès représente 1% de votre travail qui comporte lui, 99% de ce qu’on peut appeler échec.”

The gentlest kind of autumn days, wrapped in fog, silence and an otherworldly peace, where everything is inviting you to go inwards, to be with and feel your joys, longings, fears, truths.
How funny that it's often a surprise, what we discover in there almost covered in cobwebs.
May we all find all the autumn days we need to lead us back to our heart, the stranger.

As we are all contemplating on the unprecedented events that has pinned many of us within the confines of our own homes, I would like to wish everyone a very happy Earth Day, thank Mother Earth for the abundance, the life she supports and the phenomenal abuse that she copes with. As part of the introspection of how we became incarcerated by a virus, it is also equally important to think about what a fitting response would be to not just come out of this pandemic as a stronger species, but also focus on the far reaching consequences of climate change and rise up to address that on multiple levels...
I have not posted much the past few years, mainly because I have lost that touch with social media, andI have not been active on any platform - let alone Flickr. I do venture on here from time to time, and do get inspired by some of the great work done by my fellow photographers.
This was shot 4 years ago in Iceland. This is the lighthouse on Dyrhólaey (Icelandic for door hill island), formerly known by seamen as Cape Portland, is a small promontory located on the south coast of Iceland, not far from the village Vík. In fact, Dyrhólaey is the southernmost point in mainland Iceland. It was formerly an island of volcanic origin, which is also known by the Icelandic word eyja meaning island. The Dyrhólaey Lighthouse sits at the top of the formation facing the sea.
The view from Dyrhólaey is broad: To the north is to be seen the big glacier Mýrdalsjökull. To the east, the black lava columns of the Reynisdrangar come out of the sea, and to the west the whole coastline in the direction of Selfoss is visible – depending on weather conditions. In front of the peninsula, there is a gigantic black arch of lava standing in the sea, which gave the peninsula its name. In the summertime, many Atlantic puffins can be found nesting on the cliff faces of Dyrhólaey

Les errements de l’âme
Cette série réalisée dans la forêt du Touquet Paris-Plage.
Divagation du photographe ?
Introspection ?
Très certainement un peu de tout ça.
Il est bon de laisser son âme errer, chercher.

Photographer's drift?
Introspection ?
Most certainly a little bit of all of this.
It is good to let his soul wander, seek.

Some of the real demons in this upside down world are those which we carry within.
From early childhood they grow within silently... abandonement issues, abuse and anger fuel their growth, increase their power and consume us year after year.
By the time we are fully grown they have reached there full potentiality, tearing us apart from within and destroying anything good within and around us.
They distort our perception and darken our world with sorrow and pain.
In the end we percieve reality through the eyes of that tiny child and all alone and afraid we cling to any light looking for salvation, love and kindness.
For some of us it never arrives and even when it does by destiny, chance or fate... once again our our demons have there way and once again we are all alone with them . ~ Ra

Le Touquet - 2018
It is the end of year and time for some self-reflection before heralding a happy new year.
I understand that the question here is more specific but nonetheless, we must answer it too, beyond what is intended.
I was something yesterday, something different today and will be something else tomorrow. I am closer to death than I have ever been. I fall short of what I want to be. I am ever-changing and I hope for better. Being spiritual is to understand ones true nature. It is not the same as being religious. Above all else, I want to be more inclusive, accommodating, compassionate and fair. It is what I expect from others.
Most of us can reason. Few are consistent in what they speak at different times. Without it, we set one standards for ourselves and another for others. It engenders unfairness. It is the cornerstone of humanity. It demands an ability for consistent reasoning. I hope, I get better at it.
Who are you? I am ________ .
"Will you grace me with your presence here?
In your room of dying light
Beyond the reach of everything
In the sanctuary of the night..."
