The ostrich is face down into sand when enemy is approaching. It is to listen to the sound and look around the environment. In brief, it is to watch out enemies in order to correctly understand the environment. Due to the strange pause however, ostrich gets misunderstood by people. People tend to think the ostrich deludes itself that they are hidden when it is face down. The situation made a saying, ‘Bury your head in the sand which means ‘refuse to confront or acknowledge a problem’. I tried to show the tension and agony of ballerina together with the saying.
this is the final result of my photography class, it was a self directed project in which I decided to use the theme of observing the others plus I added the difficulty of a dipthyc and a mirror "sorta" effect
the pictures named 1 & 2 are the ones used in the dipthyc.
