The path is made by walking and a little rain each day will fill the river to overflowing...

Excerpt from winterstations.com:
Explorers are challenged with what is and what can be through a visual distortion of reality in The illusory. Constructed of highly reflective linear panels, the circumambulatory experience pulls the explorer into the centre for a moment of introspection and to experience an ever-changing illusion of reality. From afar, the structure is incognito, reflecting the surrounding environment and fading into it. Entering the space, the explorer views misconstrued, mirroring illustrations of themselves and their surroundings.
I've been taking photographs for just about two years now. This amount of time I'm sure will feel minuscule in the future as I know I'll continue to take photographs. Landscapes and photographs of nature were my comfort zone for quite some time while I admired street photography from a distance, never daring to break my own barriers. Eventually I did overcome my doubts and did for the most part leave behind my photographic roots in landscapes. Nowadays my landscapes are reserved as sort of a leisure activity however I felt this photo to be important to upload for the sake that it's quite similar to a previous landscape I took two years ago. That photograph was a turning point as I remember looking at it after and thinking, "Yeah. This is what I want to do". This photograph reminds me of those humble beginnings and the possibilities of the future.

A Northern service squeals round platform 2 at Carnforth. Here the curve is just sharp enough so that the train forms a reflection of itself if the light allows.

A few friends for a few drinks. A few pics for a lot of tremendous instants.

I walked alone through a wonderland of wet, heavy snow; the clouds leaden and thick overhead providing a quiet solitude known only to days like this. A raven called out forlornly as flurries continued to drift slowly down, feeling like icy needles on my unprotected face. I looked skyward and..........................................
Hey! Wait a minute! What the.....! What is that horrific scraping and rumbling? How can I be expected to muse melancholy in the face of all that racket? Ah...tax dollars at work...
By the way, please feel free to comment on the fancy photographic elements apparent in this image. Terms like "monochrome" or "selective coloring" would be greatly appreciated...and since those are the only two I know, if you can come up with any more, that would be great...;-)
DALLE mini is a AI-based text-to-image software program. I decided to give it some existential prompts. Here I ask, "How would an AI app represent DALLE-mini?
beneath the heavy, brooding clouds, two figures stand apart on the rocky jetty of palmanova beach, silhouetted against the vast expanse of the evening sea. the lighthouse, stark in its striped solitude, is a beacon of constancy amidst the restless waters. the scene captures a moment of stillness and introspection, where the human form seems small and fleeting against the enduring forces of nature. it’s a quiet interplay of light and shadow, capturing the essence of solitude and contemplation at the sea's edge.
Surajkund Fair Delhi.
I took this photograph in the Suraj Kund Fair in Delhi. The unusual setting of this scene intrigued me. Usually this is a common imagery of an Indian housewife, confined inside the four walls of her house looking into the mirror. But these two young women, in a village fare came across this huge wall hanging mirror, which was displayed, could not help but stop to admire it. The image on one hand truly reflects Indian women's affinity towards her culture and tradition. On other hand the setting of the image brings out the contract between the past and the present, the changing face of time.
It may seem odd with all the wonderful sights on our recent trip to the Arctic and Norway, that this moment is my favorite. I am still in awe that in the Arctic Ocean and only a few hundred miles from the North Pole we had glassy water with the never-ending sky, water, and ice. It was amazing and, to me, a testament to the beautiful world that God created for us.
