Dear Heart....
if only for a moment, introspection is not easily buried beneath a whole host of louder noise drifting from the thoughts in no particular order but born from the ego (whose tale is as old as time); introspection, wherein scars, pains & mistakes are not numbed into ego thereby creating a barrier for the truthful connection.
And a moment, depending on how it is spent, can last a lifetime if done with right (Ekantik) connection; connection so tender and pure by feeling the presence of 'Eterna Friend' & associated Truthfulness of Heart.
Introspection
Jar Jar knew that life could not continue this way. He was alone, and he would continue to be alone unless something changed; unless he changed. Although naïve, Jar Jar knew that this change needed to be something drastic. People would not allow him to slide into a new life easily; he had to make something happen. Jar Jar was aware that he was seen as clumsy and that people cared little for him or his safety. With this in mind, Jar Jar figured he would be able to slip away, into a new life, without too many people caring.
