Intermediate Division Showmanship Contest winners in the State Youth Dairy Show at the Alabama National Fair in Montgomery Oct. 12 were from left Ashbee Norman of Montgomery in Montgomery County, first place; Davis Henry of Montgomery in Montgomery County, second place; Ty Jones of Montgomery in Montgomery County, third place; Lauren Clardy of Wetumpka in Elmore County, fourth place; and Matthew Padgett of Grove Hill in Clarke County, fifth place. Livestock shows at the Alabama National Fair are sponsored by the Alabama Farmers Federation and Alfa Insurance.
Was a good morning to get up early and get some photo's done, started off in the Morwell National Park where I got the photo's for the Golden Whistler, Bassian Thrush and the Superb Female Lyrebird.
Afterwards I went back home to get my wallet 'n took the photo of the New Holland Honey Eater just outside my front yard then off to Morwell / hazelwood pondage for the Egret and Cormorant, was after some birds of prey but didn't get so lucky today :(

The University of Hawaii Women's Soccer Team hosted students participating in the Hawaii Soccer for Success pilot Initiative on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
The Rainbow Wahine mentored the students with their soccer skills and warmed them up for a friendly competition.
Soccer for Success is the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s free after-school initiative being held at Kalakaua Middle, Waikiki Elementary and Waiamanalo Elementary and Intermediate schools. The program was brought to Hawaii through a partnership between the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Lt. Governor Tsutsui’s after-school R.E.A.C.H. Initiative, R.E.A.C.H. Out Hawaii, the Honolulu Bulls Soccer Club, and HMSA.
