Interesting remodel work in this house. A kitchen with a sink and a bathroom were added at some point. The old cookstove was replaced with a heater and an electric stove was where the wallpaper covered the wainscoating boards. Notice the water pipes coming down from the water heater on the second floor.

It is a very interesting moment that I have catch.Almost there.I am glad I have one macro lens.

An odd pairing at South Itasca (Tomco) in October 1987 finds C&NW SD45 6527 (ex-PRR 6202) along with DW&P SD40 5911 and a transfer caboose. Interestingly the caboose is former NYC. I wonder if the SD45 and caboose ever crossed paths during the Penn Central and Conrail years.

The Perseid typically transition between the two colors with a sharp boarder. This one is unusual with the gap that was apparently created as the meteor rotated/tumbled as it burned. Then a small flare before it completely burned.

I found this interesting jelly on one of our dives. It was the only one I saw during the trip.
