Winter Lights at Canary Wharf. 16 January 2018

we went to stephan's gallery, and then across the street to an exhibit in an alley and took a ridiculous amount of photos: these are the best of those.

In our fast and digital times of computers, networking and interactive mobile devices, there is only little room left, for different paces, concentration on quiet things. By utilizing old handcraft techniques such as Macrame – a knotted net using red ribbon wire –, this installation not only aims to preserve the knowledge of traditional artwork, but also the creation processes with time for talk and information exchange. By taking this individual work out of the context of private homes and placing it into public space, this project becomes a beautiful and poetical call for preserving old handwork techniques – also as an inspiring and creative resource for new structures and designs. We definitely enjoyed it !!!

We developed two interactive stations with inmersive state of the art technology at Feeders Motorola Venue.

The action was taking real time pictures and those pictures appeared on an interactive screen framed like polaroids.

The interactive wall respond to passer by people body movements and at the same time worked as an open photobooth, showing up all venue attendants.

Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton, NJ

Throughout the Grounds for Sculpture I kept noticing that people had left empty (or almost empty) wine glasses here and there. Sometimes, like here, they seemed to fit in rather well with the surrounding pieces of art.

AirStrike provides precise free-air interactivity based on computer vision (stereo vision). It is particularly adapted to applications like : 3D visualization, holograms (like in this example), Huge! screens interactivity, "no touch" screens (water falls, smoke, pulsed air).

I have many favorite places n Second Life. Some are brilliantly creative and others are simple, elegant and immersive.

Art Box is a favorite. This is a gallery of internationally famous art by well-known artists in our world history. These are the artworks that we most recognize.

Here, you can become part of the art. You can attach props and be a character in the work itself. This is a place that will put a smile on your face.

Art Box is set up so that you can snap great pictures of yourself while you are in the art... in the piece itself. So have fun!

If you go, try to spend at least 2 hours here. There is a lot of see and a lot to try out. And, bring friends. It's a wonderful place to share with those who love art.

One of the coolest companies I get to spend time working with is Connect. Co-founded by friends Ryan Allis and Sarah Anima Lavoy, Connect is an app that helping peeps sort out the tangled web of online social media connections. I got to photograph their mimosa brunch launch party in Austin, Texas this year at SXSW 2014. Excited to work with these guys a lot more in the future!

www.connect.com

Connect was built to make it easier to stay connected to your friends throughout life. Connect shows all your friends from social networks on a map, and can notify you when they are nearby. You can see where friends have checked in recently, as well as the cities they live in around the world. Connect was designed so that all your friends from Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, iPhone Contacts, Google Contacts, and LinkedIn show up on your map - so, from the very start, your map will have hundreds of your people on it.

With Connect, you can check in and tell your friends how long you'll be somewhere, and easily share it with your social networks. Also, your Connect address book automatically stays up-to-date, making it easier to keep in touch with everyone. Now you'll know where your friends are, and have your entire network in your pocket as you move around the world.

Connect is available for the iPhone at ios.connect.com and online at connect.com.

A painting I bought in Berlin at the Tacheles by an iranian artist, Resa Mashoodi. It is on three little canvases (each about 10cm square) and when you move them apart the boobs get bigger, and together they get smaller. Ingenious!
