The Birds
The Birds focuses on actresses who starred in Alfred Hitchcock films; his attraction to blonde hair is explored through the use of Tippi Hedren. A processing sketch recreates the male director's search for his leading lady's fabricated blonde hair, the data saved from this sketch a representation of Hitchcock's line of vision.

One of my favorite pages - a Dan Roam-style diagram of our work process and tools. Drawing isn't just for interfaces!

That is what I call the interface of the MARTA Breeze Cards vending machine. This one is at Peachtree Station.
I am getting into the habit of taking photos of things that involve usability and interaction design. This one was a bit overwhelming. They had a separate machine to handle the Spanish version. I think that says something in wrong. Why couldn't the interface handle two or more languages? It's probably because the design was "hard-coded" into the interface so languages could only be changed in the software. I didn't study it that much. I just grabbed a photo for the memory.

illutron & GeekPhysical teamed up to bring an intense 3 day workshop to Aalborg University students. Day 1 was with Vanessa and introduced students to rapid prototyping, learning from the industry, design in the real world, design methods and introduction to Arduino. Day 2 and 3 were get-dirty days with Dzl and illutron member Christian Liljedahl as they tore into scrap electronics, toys and other 'junk' to help students identify components and their properties, and create intriguing projects that were displayed for family, friends, and the public in an exhibition the next day.

This is one of prototypes for my master project "Surfacing Interface". Brain info-GRAPHIC is a functional printed graphic which is made from conductive ink. When you touch brain graphic, you get each reaction which relates each part of brain.

The promotional poster we developed is in fact one big sheet of stickers that contain words (of a specific "ID"-vocabulary) which in turn can be used to interact with each other and the context, creating poetry, humor or even outrage.
