Just like the animals we should always trust our intuition or instinct. Just listen to your gut feeling and let it all unfold.

Cautious, but not that bothered sheep eyeing us on the way up the Torr Head. I deliberately used the title of a Cranberries song - a band that has "Ireland" written all over it :) :) :)
Torr Head, a slight detour on the Causeway Coastal Route is the closest point between Scotland and Ireland and offers spectacular views of Mull of Kintyre.

As everywhere in the world caring for the young ones is a kind of instinct for most animals and human beings. To watch the lioness with her three cubs was really a joy for me. The young ones were playing, took a pause, walked away from their mother, were running around. The lioness waited, turned around, walked backwards and at the end they disappeared together into the bushes.
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas time.

For our cat it's a basic instinct to walk on a fence or on the roofs of sheds and houses. Happy Caturday!

Le bleu s'estompe quand la nuit tombe.
Il recule et se dévêt lentement. Ses contours se perdent, dilués dans l'inexistence. Epuisé, le ciel grise de lassitude.

The distinctive Crested Caracara “combines the raptorial instincts of the eagle with the base carrion-feeding habits of the vulture” (Hudson 1920). Called ignoble, miserable, and aggressive, yet also dashing, stately, and noble, this medium-sized raptor, with its bold black-and-white plumage and bright yellow-orange face and legs, is easily recognizable as it perches conspicuously on a high point in the landscape. In flight it can be distinguished by its regular, powerful wing-beats as it cruises low across the ground or just above the treetops.
The name “caracara” is said to be of Guarani Indian origin, traro-traro, derived from the unusual rattling vocalization that the bird utters when agitated.
The Crested Caracara is a bird of open habitats, typically grassland, prairie, pastures, or desert with scattered taller trees, shrubs, or cacti in which it nests. Adult pairs are generally monogamous and highly territorial and exhibit strong site fidelity. Young remain with their parents for several months after fledging, and at some sites, two broods are raised per year.
I found this adult as a part of a family of three including a juvenile, at Dinner Island Ranch Wildlife Management Area in Hendry County, Florida.

I love spring because all the babies are born and the the earth comes back to life, and the flowers bloom. Spring brings with it hope, and belief in the continuity of life. Canada Geese are often accused of being aggressive when in fact they are only protecting their young as we all do. Please be kind and caring to all life. <3

Stay Safe, Be Kind.
It's ok when TVs turn on themselves. But what something throws you at the ceiling - that's a different story. You can't do anything but to cry. or try to cover your head and face. Instincts are all you have at that moment. Be safe
Why don't many people like spider photos? Shots of pretty butterflies are generally much preferred. This image shows some remarkable behaviour - found this beautiful spider protecting its nest of eggs attached securely to the underside of a hydrangea leaf. I have observed this same behaviour before (see first comment box). This was shot on a sunny and relatively calm morning, but even after several days of strong wind and rain, the spider and its nest are still there. You certainly wouldn't find this sort of behaviour in a butterfly!

Suddenly, something has happened to me
As I was having my cup of tea
Suddenly, I was feeling depressed
I was utterly and totally stressed
Do you know you made me cry?
Three days of rolling in fresh coyote poop. Three days of baths. Dogs are wonderful....and sometimes they're not. UGHHHH. She knows she's in deep trouble but her instinct tells her to roll in it anyway.
