The only glitch I've run into so far involes the step/pilot sections. They were a little narrower than the body which left an indentation on either side when installed. Some .020 styrene laminated on either side and filed to shape solves the problem.

I re-assembled the trellis and installed it atop the animal barrier fence. The melons and cucumbers will grow up the trellis. All of this is part of the "Frame-it-all" raised bed system. Normally the trellis just has two "walls" but as mine was knocked down last year in a wind storm I added another "wall" along with the second top brace. I'm going to add two braces at the bottom of the trellis as well.

Most natural history collections have thousands of very small specimens kept in their storerooms which are rarely shown to the public. To right this wrong, the UCL Grant Museum of Zoology have created a display never seen in a museum before -- the Micrarium, an old office converted into a beautiful back-lit cave covered with 2000 wall-to-wall microscope slides.

Many, many thanks to Tae Kim, founder of Alite Design, for documenting zipper installation on one of his bags via a Facebook stream. It is amazing where you can learn techniques.
By the way, it is astounding how difficult it is, even with complete internet search access, to source the type and variety of zippers you'd like. Feel like I have stumbled onto a lost opportunity to serve a crowd looking for very particular product at a quantity less than that required for bulk fabrication.
Yippee! The windows are installed and they look so good! I'm very pleased with the outcome and hope the new owner has many years of enjoyment from them.

Here's the story of their installation.
Not sure if this will work, but tonight I undertook a ditch light installation project. It got a little more involved than planned when a new anti climber was required.
Crews dig a trench to install a new storm drain pipe on the I-5/196th Street SW braided ramp project.
Hopefully the protruding thermocouple doesn't get damaged by agitated beans. I wanted it sticking out so that it is reading a true as possible air temperature. The tube is something I scavenged from the tip.

Installtion of 12,000 stacked pencils topped with acrylic paint on gallery wall
approx. 150 x 150 inches
This Flickr Set documents the installation of Myers' Crop, 2011
Pelavin Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Timothy Paul Myers, titled The Ontario Ration. In celebration of Pelavin Gallery ’s thirty year anniversary, in January 2011, Myers bases this exhibition on a found business ledger chronicling the last thirty-years of an egg farmer named Myron B. Johnson, circa 1899-1929. This will be Myers first solo exhibition at the gallery.
Repetition and the use of unlikely materials—two prominent themes in Myers' work—continue to be displayed in this exhibition, as Myers makes use of hundreds of pages from a thirty-year business ledger of Myron B. Johnson, circa 1899-1929; one-thousand trading cards, circa 1900s-1930s; and one-hundred-thousand stacked pencil pieces individually topped with a single drop of acrylic paint from the artist's palette of over one-hundred-fifty hand-mixed colors.
